Stoner to test V8 Supercar

It is bizarre. You can ride there on a road legal bike which suddenly becomes too loud once you go through the gates.

I know it sucks
<
I have done a few sprint days there in a car, I had to have an entire new cat back made so the car would pass.

In the defence of local residents, when they moved in they where told that the track would never be used again.

I hope Stoner never drives one of these tintops in competition. Go hunting, go fishing! Don't waste your time on this ....! V8 (super)cars and NASCAR are probably in the same league for boredom.

Actually didn't they use to have the rallycross at Catalina live on Tv years ago?

Yes I recall watching the Rallycross those days - young Brocky had this fully worked Torana I recall.

Now its Casey getting involved with T8 - the previous 2yrs they were obliging to Chad Reed now its Casey - the PR Vodaphone machine imo.

Mmm lets see Aussie riders who have tasted 4wheels after their 2wheel career -

Hansford, done good, raced with Moffat in RX7 then onto Commodores with Perkins.

Gardner, first up with HRT but wanted to have destiny in own hands formed his own team all bells and whistles with Coke sponsership, if I recall correctly nicknamed "Crash" was fast at times but carnage mostly followed.

Bayliss - poor fella after such a awesum 2wheel career thinks 4wheels at home, poorly backed team never had a chance.

Hope for Reed or Stoner one day ? who knows but as mentioned I hope neither of them do.

See Stoner listed in BRW Australia's top 50 highest paid sportsmen.

Reportedly earning AU$ 9,500,000 (abt US$ 9,550,000) in 2010/2011.

Few years of that level of income, and he can buy his own race team.

....! if id known i would have gone down and had a look, norwell is right behind my house
