The way I see it there are only 3 genuine #1 or lead riders - Rossi, Lorenzo and Stoner. Dani is just not consistent enough, Dovi is like Hayden in that he is a really good rider but not quite great. Luckily there are 3 genuine factory #1 seats. It will be interesting to see if each of them is filled with a genuine #1 rider.

Really? You think RdP would replace Dani or Dovi? Although Randy is looking decent this year (no crashing, and going fast on customer Honda) I don't think he's in the spotlight for a factory Honda ride.

Well that just adds to my point. Nicky had 3 consecutive .... seasons and still managed to retain a factory ride, which he is now using properley. So why would people not be interested in Stoner now, when he has been comfortably one of the best 4 riders in the world for the last 3 years.

nobody said people would not be interested in stoner, only that he is not as appealing lately and his price is falling.

If and when Stoner get the bike sorted out - this won't be the case. He bogged it at the beginning

but look at the lap times he put in over the course of the race at Silverstone. I betting he's back on

form at Assen and Hayden will have to live with another 4th.
