Stoner says MotoGP is ....

In many other places there is a lot of conjecture as to what was actually said as the article has been translated from french to english after having been given in english to a french magazine, so many people question his use of the descriptive '....', although people do not doubt he likely said crap.

These same places are asking for the full context of the comments as the journalist seems to have picked and placed comments which can be seen as they use comments by Rossi and Lorenzo that are some weeks, if not a few months old but they try to present them as current comments.

On top of this, one forum posted a tweet from Stoner where he denies saying that the sport is '....' as such, but does not go as far as to say that the sport is in great stead.

When I get home I will see if I can find the comments and tweet (work filters stop it)

EDIT. Heisman uses less words than me so beat me to it :)

Hey Jums. When you get Stoners balls out of your mouth, can you ask him what he really meant.

That "...." piece of journalism makes David look like Woodward and Bernstein!!

Isn't this old news. We know Stoner doesn't like GP, that's the reason he's been giving since 2012 when he left. Yawn. I left racing Superkarts in 2012, I haven't been back to a race since. Is it just me or is CS a bit hypocritical? Says he leaves MGP because he is fed up with the politics and crucially, all the media demands then not only accepts any media invitation he gets (and I don't just mean interviews) but has a twitter account to post updates on his life.

Wasn't getting away from all that the reason he left? Either way apart from what I read on here, I don't follow his .....

So Twitter is the same as press conferences and toeing the corporate line with your sponsors??

Good point, but then I don't recall Stoner ever moaning about 'toeing the corporate line' He moaned more about the media mis-interpreting things he said yet even post retirement he talks to the media where exactly the same thing could happen, as it could from any statement on Twitter. Remember he got into a tiff on Twitter over a V8 Supercars comment he made too.

Very likely wrong here but I have a suspicion that many of the interviews he gives these days are to meet the sponsor demands that he is still beholden to meet as he still has sponsors (Red Bull, Nolan, Honda etc)

Thus it is likely more he having to give interviews than him actually choosing to do so and whilst in the past he hated that aspect, these days he is not riding so is getting less questions regarding that aspect and more questions regarding the sport as a whole, and as we know he prefers a vastly different sport so why not push his preferred barrow (so to speak)?

Absolutely not, but then I also don't think that Stoner cares either as he knows that he is/was just a small insignificant fish (pun intended for Stoner) amongst the much larger fish in the lake of opportunity that Dorna maintains

Is that Aussie for 'just toss him softballs'??? (which is septic for 'ask the easy questions'....)

Stoner said he loves this forum cause everyone wants his ..... in their butts.

If you'd ever had the good fortune to see him at Philip Island or in the Corkscrew (live that is) at Laguna Seca - you'd get it. He looked like
a pipsqueak and spoke a lot like an anxious teenager waiting to reach
puberty - but holy ...., when he rode it was a thing of beauty.
Even Rossi said "He rides like a God." Actual quote.
BTW(and this is not a leading question) but do you in fact ride or own
a motorcycle? Just curious.

SOMETHING WE CAN AGREE ON.

Thank god.

Stoner drifting the bike through Philip Island was better than ... with littlesparrows and MotoChick at the same time.
