stoner not happy

Casey is right!

....... Yamaha & Honda are some ....... sore losers. They suck ....

....... hell., that stoner can be a whiner at times ,

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>everyone said my results were down to other things," he said in an interview with the Times. "It was traction control or the tyres or the bike. It pissed me off.

if it wasn't down to the bike then why are you so scared about a rev limit ??

Think about it guys. .... Honda and every single sneaky little Japanese corporate whore involved in this piece of ....! Jesus, take the fanboy hats off just one ....... time. Roger you should ....... know better, this has nothing to do with Rossi or Stoner or any other rider. It's about huge Japanese corporations trying to bully a very successful and very small European factory that happens to piss them off by making excellent racing bikes. The technical specifics are completely irrelevant. Dirty ....... .......s. I hope every single Ducati finishes in front of a Japanese bike all year long.

Stoner doesn't help his whining reputation by doing this.

When he does well, it's all down to him.

When he doesn't win, it's down to the bike.

And why do I think this story is a molehill being transformed into a mountain?

I expect this from Honda, but I am surprised at Yamaha. I always thought of them as the anti-Honda. I guess I was mistaken.

And why do I think this story is a molehill being transformed into a mountain?why is just what I'm thinking? honestly a molehill? phleg man you gotta be kiddin me. Ducati have the super high revving, all conquering desmocedici. Honda, in an effort to reach the same revvy heights and the elusive extra peak power that lives there, have designed an engine with pneumatic valve operation but it don't work. In fact, it's such a piece of crap that their factory riders have rejected it and are going to use last years, low revving, sprung valve, dog slow engine for the forseable future. But wait, Honda come out with the suggestion to have regulations changed to introduce a rev limit, a reg change that can only possibly disadvantage one factory, Ducati. I know have spelt out the painfully obvious here but tell me you still don't get it, or even worse that you think it's fair? Ducati must be seething, and rightly so. A rev limit? In motoGP? Get the .... outta here!

There is one in F1, that's hardly ruined it now has it? The only reason I'd accept this is because of costs.

NO boring F1 jokes

Wow. Whether F1 has a rev limit or not has nothing whatsoever to do with the point in this thread phleg and is a lame argument in support of Honda's proposal. In fact F1 or any other carsport has nothing to do with what we're talking about here. The cost-saving angle, gimme a break, it's a red-herring, I might buy into it if I was 6 years old. How big a budget for R&D do you reckon Honda have compared to Ducati?

Seriously phleg all jousting aside, to make a credible, positive argument for introducing a rev limit in motoGP, you must show us how it is either beneficial or completely necessary. "If you are HRC" does tick both those boxes I guess

RIIIIIIIIGHT, because ducati is all about fairplay and unbiased rules in their SBK endeavors. can't get the rules to bend your way? ok, just drop out of the series like sore losers (AMA SBK). can't get WSBK to allow 1200cc? threaten to leave the series.

who are the real crybabies?

Standard bike racer, it can never be there fault when they lose but its definitely their doing when they win.

skid i would agree 100% with you had ducati not pulled the same .... in wsb,,.... em i say !

Is it just me or does it sound like a deja vue? Anyone remember the "Numbers don't 1ie" thing.
To me that was an obvious sign of someone in a very defensive position.
This look so much the same, alltoug a very different issue.
To attack Honda and Yamaha for soemthing they want in '09, obviously because he does think the desmo valve give them a significant advantage and at the same time expressing anger for not giving him credit beacuse "all" claim it's the bike is a contradiction as clear as it gets. Sounds like the worst worshippers on this forum.

Of course this is based on how it came out in the press. I would not be surpriced if the angle was entirely different in the actual interview. If he laughed about the propsal instead of expressing anger the picture would have looked sooo much better.
Sometimes atacking is in reality the defencive move, just like this look like.
I don't know if his odds went up or down with this one, but it doesn't look good for him if Yamaha and Honda really made the improvements they say they do.

it sounds like... blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
