Yeah, look at them, debating and carrying on. Pft Its a good thing me and you are above the fray.

I'm off to read a few more quotes, then wonder what they actually meant....

I see a spoiled brat as someone who grew up with a silver spoon stuck up his .... From what i hear, that is not the Stoners background. Didnt they live in a van or some .... like that to finance Casey's career. I think he is a kid who came from nothing, and is so focused on not going back there, that it affects his social well being.Sometimes the drive that allows people like Stoner to come from nothing, turns into a fear of ending up like that again. Driven people can be hard to get along with sometimes.
<

So you think "spoiled" is just about monetary riches
<
Kids can be spoiled in manys ways. Stoner sure got his way as a kid. Family selling the farm so he can live the dream.

Good parents this.
<

depends how you look at it.

yes they made sacrifice so their son could pursue his dream. they gave him every thing and he is a rich man in the money sence. They also help make a social misfit with the manners of a gibbon, a man who can only function on the track. A man that's loathed by millions and worshipped by mindless cheerleaders .(did you like that bit)? A man who despite his wealth and success walks about with a face like a wet weekend.

Jum - you've replied to every post here except my last post. I feel left out.

Was it just too worthless to comment on? Or was it just so reasonable and rational

that it's acknowledgement would have made the continuation of this thread pointless?

Which is it?
<

I'm still ignoring you.

I had taken this pic at Silverstone to make my customary wisecrack on the villains of the sport, usually Pedro & Rossi, but it seems things have changed. In light of this thread, and Bunyip's inability to "steer" me "away from psychotic role- reversal". I'd like to post this picture of my new friends...

They also help make a social misfit with the manners of a gibbon, a man who can only function on the track. A: A man that's loathed by millions and worshipped by mindless cheerleaders .(did you like that bit)? B: A man who despite his wealth and success walks about with a face like a wet weekend.

A: Almost noone likes Casey in Spain, but most of the reasonably grown' up and sane people i know, think of Rossi as a villian, the people who follow him are mostly what you stated before, Mindless/blind cheerleaders who can't even type normally on the PC, they do that texting thing.

B: If you are talking about this year i would like you to remember the guy with the ...... face in Ducati isn't Stoner anymore, it's Rossi.... unless the cams are looking ofcourse, then he may, just may do an effort and....cover his ears.

Love it!

As i've said countless times, theres no success in being dislike by millions.

Back to the debate proper, Jums, as we know Nicky is probably the most respected rider in the paddock personality wise, watching the incident back, I can't help but feel that Stoner actually made a serious mountain out of a molehill, Nicky was already past the apex and moving off the line when Stoner arrived at the corner, then the ensuing hounding by Stoner actually messed up two of Nicky's next corner completely. Making it impossible to suggest that Nicky somehow deliberately got in the way. As was Stoners suggestion of Rossi getting a tow at Estoril.....

This is the second time this season Stoner has seemed to have invented incidents with the Factory Ducati riders, maybe he has a bazaar game plan to upset his old factory? Not too bright though in it's implementation. Stoner is running out of countries where he won't be booed, soon only PI will be left, even there he could be in trouble.......

I've heard it rumoured that these wild rages that Stoner has could be a symptom of something else.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ibogaine

It provides intense concentration & pain relief followed by bouts of euphoria, combined with aggressive tendencies.

It's only a rumour mind you, but an Brazilian physician has been in attendance at a few of the races this year.

I heard that his "stomach problem" in '09 was actually due to opiate withdrawal, & that he got hooked on "the 'gaine" in combating it.

Well, if it is good enough for ed muskie.........., although I doubt few if any among either stoner's detractors or fans would claim parallels to any politician.
