I don't think there is any disagreement between us in regard to the late and very great Hunter S Thompson, and I don't need wikipedia to know about ed muskie and ibogaine, one of the highlights among many of "Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail". The really amusing thing is that it was taken seriously, or literally anyway, by quite a few among the media.
 
& I didn't think the idea was much crazier than some things that have been written in this thread.
