Then those words are going to need something to make it sweet going down their throats.

thats a pretty wide brush you have just used to tar all us non-americans. not every "euro" hates america but after reading some of your posts, it would not surprise me if they all hate you...

Rog I am not trying to classify all thoseoutside the US, like anyone should really know. But the general thought around the globe about the US is not a good one to say the least. Plus your not a euro, your a brit right? SIster country and all that. PIP PIP cheerio and lets get a few pints! Guiness for me eh!

They may hate me but do you think I care. I don't want this country to go the path of the rest of the world especially europe. Personally I don't think it is everyone but again most that talk amongst themselves. They don't usually say it to your face. Surely this country is looked upon as a huge thorn in the side of the global agenda that faces us and I for one among my friends and countrymen want nothing to do with the ONE WORLD ........ and the single currency. I hope eveyone gets to keep their own culture cause the world will be pretty boring when it is all meshed into one.

I dont think america is hated any more than britain or china or russia, part of the territory of being a super power. Dont take it to heart mate

plus Guinness is Irish, nice drink an all but not English old boy !

Well English then ok, sorry. America is hated and I am not turning a blind eye to it. I have far to many friends and family in the service and I hear stories from THEIR mouths and it is enough to convince me.

I know Guiness is Irish but dude does it really matter? It all goes down the same.

This statement is what some Euros hate about those who would say this about them. But its simply not true. Only a few of them hate, just like we have a few here in the States. Migs just happens to be one of those haters.

But I must tell you, when I went to Europe, I met some of the most friendly people ever. But I hear that South Hampton has some real jerks...

Its interesting you invoked Obama in your previous post, since the "general thought around the globe" you speak of was highly tarnished during the Bush regime. Arrogance is not liked by anyone no matter who it is that does it, and.... (.... what am I doing?) STOP

Ok if You read my original statment I never said ALL. It is a well know fact that the US is not liked very much even hated by Europe and such. Plus just to clarify since I seem to need to constantly do it the "euro" term isn't a derogatory term in my book. Just short for european I thought. I am from european descent. But I am an American.
