Last year, i didnt know i would be headed to Shiverstone 2 days before the event. So....
 
The last 12 months have been one of the greatest of my life. It started with Silverstone, went on to Laguna, then capped with Daytona. And im already making serious plans to return to the UK next year. Im shooting for "summer" 2013. And this time i'll be bringing the clan.

Should you turn up we will find space in one of the tents for ya!

Doubt you'll be needing it though others are sure to offer better, but as a back up plan

hi everyone i booked my tickets for silverstone in january and havent got them yet is this normal or should i be worrying any ideas what to do?

If i show up, i dont want just any tent. I want your tent. With u in the tent pretty boy.
 
i booked them through silverstone website i just contacted them and royal mail have returned them no card through door or feck all i have to pick them up from the ticket collection point wherever that is!

Silverstone and a bit o a holiday excellent! I'd happily be your tour guide for the bits north o Hadrians Wall mate!

With all your friends you have the whole of the UK covered, from Southampton to Orkney. Can't help but think though, the amount of money such a holiday would cost, you could have gone somewhere nice. The UK is a ....... dump ! you get very little for a lot of money . The weather is ...., there's .... all to see or do, we don't even have much of a culture any more. Your leaving paradise to visit the arse hole of the world compa .The great times we have experienced in sunny California could never be replicated in the uk.

Of course you and your family are more than welcome any time, but as a friend i urge you to take them somewhere good with your hard earned.

Its on the main drag on the way in mate.

Just after you go under the silverstone bridge the car park on the left hand side has white portacabins in it.

Thats where you want to be to collect ya tix

I say with humility, that I've been lucky to travel many places in this world. But one of the greatest times in my life was in the UK. I think you underestimate your country. This last weekend the US networks were glued to the 60 year Jubilee. They managed to make hours of boats floating down the river, something like watching paint dry, seem interesting. Why? Because Americans for the most part love Brits. CK and I had this conversation once, that you could get a Brit to cuss us out, and we'd be honored to be cussed out as long as it was done in a British accent. Don't sell your great country short compa.



Anyway, thanks for the invite. I've already started the UK fund. Summer 2013, the Mexican American invasion begins.

I gotta agree Jum. The last 12 months has been pretty much awesome. Silverstone kick started a few very important things in my life. Laguna followed, what a trip. It was crazy. Daytona followed that and that was very crazy.

You know that you, your family and any of the crew have an open invitation to my house. The advance scouting party has already been !



To be honest, it doesn't matter if you are in a .... hole country as long as ya got ya friends around you and a few beers !

That's very true for the lads but what is there for the kids? Maybe we should start compiling a list of things to see and do in our areas for them to make it as exciting and memorable as we can.

I've got.

Southampton wall's and Tudor house.

HMS Victory

Isle of Wight

New Forest

Stonehenge

For the kids we have Poultons park, Robbin hill and Black gang chine on the I.O.W. Not much of a match for the theme parks state side i'm afraid

Well up here we some of the most amazing places, google Skara Brae, The Italian Chapel, St Manus Cathedral, Scapa Flow, and thats just here on Orkney. Fae the lowlands tae the highlands and islands, Scotland is a beautiful country. (I'm no meant tae say this but so are England, Wales and Ireland!) It'd be an honour tae show you my country. I could even show you the Isle o Lewis, where Barry's family came fae. I'm sure his Clan seat will hae a staue of a man skidding on a motorbike.
