Silverstone 2012

I am now getting ready for anything......Just look out for an Aussie carrying a full sized stuffed kangaroo...(.all the horror public transport stories could see me bringing a live kangaroo to ride!)

Skaface your link to trainline story is dead

Some days I live with fear....other days I leave her home and go motorcycle racing

That's the spirit!

A live kangaroo should make some good steaks for the bar-b-q

Crafty if you can't meet Wills at the appropriate time the train to northampton and track bus from there appears to be the best option.

I'vs a guest from canada arriving the same way.

Fire me a PM and I'll send you my mob no: for contact at the track. I believe my group is going to be the first there so can guide you to where we are all camping,

Going to try and save a good sized area for us all on the Weds eve.

Ive a feeling this is going to be one hell of a paaaaaaaartaaaaaaaaaay!

Roll on Silverstone!!!!!!

Coming up for race day with a couple of mates from Oz. I have the roving grandstand tickets, and would appreciate any feedback on where the best places are to try and nab a seat.

By the way, I have a spare seat in the car (bloody non riding tourists) for anyone wanting to come up on the Sunday from West London / Windsor area.

Be a few more west aussies to keep Crafty company if nothng else.

I've always enjoyed sitting on maggots and beckets,

If you position yourself correctly you get to see the bikes come over the rise out of copse, through maggot/beckets/chaple curve and then watch for any overtaking as they tear away from you down the hanger straight and into stowe.

Pretty much all the far side of the track.

I was sat around Becketts and Maggots last year, looked over the track and saw there was a strip of banking in the middle near Arena, where the Johann Zarco fan club were sat. Could be closer to big screens and there is a tunnel under the track at Copse.
