Rumour has it that Shakey has signed for Stobart Honda in BSB for 2007. Personally I'm glad he's got a ride. If it turns out to be true of course

dean ellison has pissed off to WSB now - bit of a bummer cos our firm was going to be sponsoring him this year.

looks like we'll have to find someone else

it might be a BSB rider if the offer us enough tickets in return but if not it'll be an R6 Cup rider - you still get into the full BSB race day and we get to go in the 'Virgin Hospitality' too.

Bring on the 'Virgin Police' brolly girls.

looks like he's finally put pen to paper....

Shane Byrne will team up with the team with which he won the British Superbike title after he re-signed to join Paul Bird’s Stobart Honda team for 2007.
Byrne revealed to MCN that he turned his back on the chance of a factory-backed Yamaha World Superbike ride to grab the best remaining ride in BSB, to try and return the team to its title-winning glory years.
He won the BSB title on a MonsterMob Ducati in 2003.
Speaking to MCN from his home in Spain, Byrne said: “This means a lot to me, and it’s a fantastic chance to prove myself again to people.
“I know the team, and we will be grafting hard this winter to be ready for the start of the season.

Shane Byrne has admitted he was so disappointed with his 2006 season with Rizla Suzuki, he sees his signing with old team Stobart Honda like the start of a new career in 2007.
Byrne was finally announced as Stobart’s top man last week. And fans’ favourite Byrne – who won the 2003 BSB title with the same team when it ran Ducatis – says he is determined to erase his memories of a nightmare season with Rizla.
The 30-year-old will be on a Honda next year with team-mate Tom Sykes, and said: “It’s like I’ve got to start all over again.
“I think what happened this year has done my reputation a lot of harm. In MotoGP it doesn’t matter where you finish – at the front, in the middle, or even at the back.
“Everyone recognises you are only there because you can ride a motorcycle. But I was right out of it in BSB and that’s not good.”
