Rossi threatens to leave Motogp if he dont get his way. CRY CRY

What a cry baby. what is he 5 years old?

This would still give him comfortable seniority over you.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE<div class='quotemain'>The control-tyre decision was delayed and when I asked Rossi about the situation it was clear that he wasn't happy with Michelins as he had lost confidence in them. On whether he would walk if he didn't get Bridgestones, however, he stumbled: "Hmm… it's possible. It's not impossible… if the situation remains like this I am not very happy to race." Last week it was finally announced that no control would be introduced but maybe a couple of rule changes, probably an increased tyre allocation and possibly some testing extensions. And although it hasn't been announced that Rossi will use Bridgestones next season,

Ok, well I realise this thread could be seen as a trolling attempt but where does it say in that article that Rossi will walk from MotoGP?

He is asked 'would he walk' (according to the report) which could mean 'walk from Yamaha to a Bridgestone team', or it could mean 'walk from MGP', but nowhere does it state from MGP.

pretty plain and clear to me

Well i wouldn't expect him to stick around too long when hes losing. Hes probably just as shocked as us that hes not the best anymore. None of us saw Stoner coming!!

Even accepting that he was talking about walking from motogp, what would be unreasonable about a 5 times world champion retiring because he no longer considered he had a chance to win? Quite a few other world champions with considerably fewer wins have retired for this reason.

Valentino clearly has nothing more to prove, and although only 28 has had 12 odd years at the top and realises he has a limited time left in terms of his motivation if nothing else. Why would he want to waste any years on equipment he considers gives him no chance of winning? He obviously thinks he has at least one more championship in him to seal his legend given appropriate resources; I tend to agree with him.

I'd love to see Rossi win one more title - with another manufacturer - would prove to me he was the greatest of all time, and I've seen every race of Rossi's career in grand prix.

if he retired then thats fine, say i retire coz i had enough i have other aspirations.

he didnt say hes retiring he say he'll quit motogp. meaning he could race somewhere else like WSB.

but to put it like if i dont change tires then i am leaving, then thats an ultimatum.

and reeks of a sore loser

The horrendously unfair outcome used as a threat in all these supposed manipulations? A control tyre. I am opposed to a control tyre for philosophical reasons, but it is hard to argue it would not be by far the tyre regulation most likely to be "fair".

Michelin have been complacent, arrogant and quite possibly lazy but freely conceded the advantage the old tyre regulations gave them, perhaps not entirely realising they were doing so. Now that bridgestone have reached a situation that eminently suits them, they obviously are very happy for things to remain as they are. I don't recall any talk of limited capacity when they were not the top tyre. If they want to play politics, so will everyone else.

Good race today.
The Ducati rider had nothing to offer against Dani. As suspected, the Ducati can only win if it is first from the start.

your posting news which is about 2 weeks old, its clear who is the cry-baby here, so here you go i got you a speacial one this time, sorry i couldnt get you a red candy one to suck on they sold out......

A 5 time world champion deserves to get it anyway he wants. He has made this sport so popular. He is the only rider who has been raised to a celebrity level, and attracted millions to the sport. Without Ross, no one would know who Stoner is, and he will definitely not have any prime time in e.g. CNN.

Turning to personal inslults demonstrates who has low inteligence.

id say he's still the best rider, he's just on the wrong bike right now. all team's have up's & down's. i dont mind casey, but he could do with a personality. hope it's a closer season next year.

Well, sorry can you please qualify your intelligent statement above? Rossi can do what he wants? What, you mean kill a world leader or something? Is valentino now motoGP? Doesn't anything else matter? Why not just give him the next 10 world championships if he, quoting you "wants them"?
So, at Sepang last week Stoner won and he wasn't first? Nor at Phillip Island? What are you talking about?

I am saying that Rossi should and does have weight in the Moto GP management and its the way it should be. After all, he made it into big business and brought the sport to a point of recognition that it never had before. There is nothing wrong with him having influence on the decisions taken, in a way he was moto gp for the past 5 years.
Its not like he is trying to break the rules for his own benefit. He is trying to make the sport more interesting (like the single tyre rule, that made F1 much much better). And there is nothing wrong with him wanting to change tryes, if michelin did not give him the respect he deserves and he lost confidance with them, he is entitled to seek other tyres.
