theres no way rossi would switch to stones, that means starting from scratch again because they have no real data to work from. dont think rossi will want to chuck away nex season on such a gamble.
as for mcn. the other week they said there would be a control tyre rule now the say ,quote,"The shock revelation about Rossi and Bridgestone follows news that a one-make tyre rule seems certain to be rejected at a meeting of the Grand Prix Commission in Malaysia a week today (October 20)."
there full of .....

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE<div class='quotemain'>Loris also had a view on the hot gossip of the weekend, that Rossi will run on Bridgestone tires next year: he thinks it's more than speculation, he thinks it's a done deal.

Ryder Notes

Rossi will be on bridgestones next year. Should be interesting - one yamaha on bridgestones and 3 on michelins.

Rossi can adjust to any tyre very quickly he cannot do anything about a tyre that goes off mid race.

Bridgestones are not as bike specific tyres as michelins are.

rossi is a sponsors nightmare, hes been slaggin off yamaha and michelin all year.

and when he had tobacco sponsorship he was slagging them off too.

and talking about going to ducati when you still got this season and next season to go with yamaha. what a fucken ......

take it on the chin rossi, you were never a gratious winner, and now it shows your even a worse loser.

So when Stoner was saying that he couldn't ride with michelins it was cool. When Stoner said that his hoda bike was sh^t it was cool. But rossi wants to switch rubber next year and you call him a sore looser.

Pinky i don't what to think of you.

no bike is ever perfect. you work with what you got. rossi chose his bed to sleep in. now he has to cop it sweet. be a gratious loser rossi, at least try to pretend and do that, for gods sakes we know u wont ever be a humble winner.

all he said was what everyone on the planet already new.
you should get your facts straight pinky, rossi has always snubbed tabacco sponsorship, he only went with it to give yamaha half a chance of winning a championship.
you say he is a sponsors nightmare

you gata be some sort of smack head. sponsors have made millions out of his name and fan base,i dont see any of them complaining

when are you going to stop trolling pinky, its getting very tiresome

an4rew my friend, as an admirer of Vale's riding abilities myself I must disagree with you on this statement.

Vale himself has said that one of the things that used to make the difference between himself & all the other riders, was his ability to ride quicker than them on a tyre that was going "off" & fading in the latter parts of the race.

And this was a very true statement!

The main difference this year is that Bridgestone has finally made tyres that are at least as good as the Michelins & usually are that bit better at the end!

Wayne Rainey had the same advantage in 1991 with his Dunlops over Mick Doohan's Michelins too, but the next year Mick came out & won 5 of the first 7 races on the french rubber.

The only consistent thing in the world is change...

yea but also i feel electronics are taking over the human part, making it harder for good riders to make a difference if they are down on HP or tyres not working well.

i really think Rossi made the switch to Yamaha in the nick of time because if he had done that now he wouldn't count.

yup, i agree

If this is true; what a fecking sook! He wins five titles on Michelins, while other riders (with less profile and influence and whinging ability) struggle away on Bridgestones and Dunlops..

As soon as things aren't EXACTLY how 'The Doctor' needs them, he goes and stabs the Frenchies in the back, what a little princess..

My arse he can ride around a bikes 'every deficiency,' this is your god Rossi lovers! What a farce..

I hope Michelin come out and kick the crap outta Bridgestone next year and Rossi gets beaten by all three yammys, including the Texas Windbag, in the championship standings.. Thatll teach him..

For shame...

ummm, i fear some of you will make a judgment about jt before he gets a chance on a competitive ride. remember he will be on the tech3 so give him the same curtasy you want for stoner regarding his rookie season on the lcr.

Couldn't resist the ...!

I actually hope JT does well because he is aggressive and fair. That is his dilema though ... he needs to do well on average equipment to open better doors if, as I suspect, the Tech3 Yamaha is still an average package next year.
