I am not frustrated as Rossi doesn't need to demonstrate anything anymore. MM need to do that but the reality is that he is just another Stoner, Gibernao, or Biaggi they will go in few years and no one will remember them anymore. You are trying to compare mouse with tigers here

Ditto

I actualy didn't take the time to go over it. I have better things to do than verify all of this and win or lose a childish fight. The only thing that matters to me is that Marquez is more talented than Rossi has ever been and Rossi knows it.
To recap :

MM : Sweeping statement made as "fact",
Y : Actual Facts provided to repudiate Sweeping statement,
MM : Actual Facts dismissed as Childish and also beneath me
MM : New sweeping statement made as "fact"

The eye can't see what the head wants to ignore :frusty:

All videos I have seen provide no evidence of a threatened kick prior to contact.

If you can be arsed, please provide the one I've not seen but you have :p

Well you seem to have remembered them well enough to quote them by name....

Btw thnx for this link. My perspective on Michael Lostverty has changed.

Michael Laverty ‏@MichaelLaverty
@colinjmorgan @gtrlover02 @tobymoody he is not, I don't condone what he did but if I'm honest I'd have done the same in the circumstances

Sweet. Can't wait for someone to race this dude when he is the points leader. Which based on his career stats will be never.

And interesting to read Norge's take on it in comparison...

Eugene Laverty@eugenelaverty: I'll let Warren Buffett take it from here: "It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it"

So he doesn't condone it but would have done the same...isn't that condoning it?

Wait wait, are these guys brothers? Or just share a last name? Because they obviously don't share anything else.

I scrolled down Michaels tweets, he kept on about defending his take, and how Marc had broken some rule of racing the contender, etc etc. For a moment I thought Uccio's dad (see video) had commandeered Michael Laverty tweaker account.

EDIT EDIT. Wait wait on minute, honest question Arrabi! Who was Eugene referring too? Did he mean Marc ruined Rossi's reputation? !?

Hahaha, seriously this is exactly the same reasoning, actually worse, that this incident has exposed! Marc's fault because Rossi just had to run him off you see?

I don't condone it, but I would have totally meat cleavered. Uhm...Jack in the Bean Stock logic.

It's like with the girl in the corner of the pub. You're not interested but if she bothers you enough and spills too much girly beer on your jacket you just have to hate .... her. I totally get vale

Yeah I remember them, bit have no idea what they are doing. Exactly as will Marquez in few years. You said he is more talented than Rossi, well I think it's way to early to say. You said he braked Rossi records. Well give us a call when he will win 10 world championship dreamer.

He does not need to win to 10 world championship. He only need to win more races, which he is already on course to do.

You have made few or no arguments at all that I have seen. You have continued to declaim your opinion and quoted other Rossi fans who share your opinion.

So why is Fonsi right?

What makes him correct and others not so?

I think I know the answer but why is his opinion that much more relevant to others?

Perhaps even people who have been critical of Rossi?

This is Fonsi's opinion and like all of us ........, he has an opinion.

People really are grabbing (now anyway) onto an unwritten rule that was 'allegedly' breached without understanding that one cannot breach as rule that does not exist.

If the riders feel that MM breached a 'code' that does not make their opinion on the incident correct as all it does is highlight the hypocrisy of some of these riders who themselves have battled within a championship

Spot on. Exactly the same argument we've been making for a week.

Yep, even down to the exact same flaws...

Hey Fonsi, ok, so you need to be Conan the Barbarian to knock down a motogp bike by kicking the fairing, but can you role-play what happens when someone nudges the handlebars with their foot?
