True Yamaha brings the new updated software, which is already late actually. But Rossi said he won't use it, he will stick his faith on his new bridgestone tires.

You just missed the latest news you .......

"I didn’t try the new electronics today and actually at the moment it’s more likely that we won’t this weekend, but I did try some different Bridgestone tyres and we found one which we think will be okay for the race.
"I am confident that our potential is more than today so we will do our best to improve tomorrow.”

So what's wrong...it's pretty natural for the rider and team to try make things better.

And how about Stoner & Ducati's Catalunya after race test ? They did the test 'coz they want a better bike.

So how about looking in the mirror Pinky...Maybe there will be another Hongkong toys there ?

so when stoner gets electronics pacakgae so that his bike dont ride like a bucking bronco thats unfair, but when rossi seeks one thats development?

No...when stoner did it, that's the bike with an improvement.. and when rossi did it, that's the bike with an improvement..
And with both on an equally bike, we shall see...

i said this was coming ages ago you baffoon there are also overdue new parts in the pipeline...., these electronics are to help prolong life of the bridgestones over race distance.

Rossi said he didn't expect to race the new developments this weekend, instead he said, he was putting his faith in a new Bridgestone tyre.

so like i said there electronics where for the stones......they also need some better acceleration

Do you pride yourself on drawing bonehead conclusions? Well if TC and software is unfair, we better call Ducati and have them take it off, right?

The voices told him Goatboy.

Now Lex has got me wondering ....

I wonder if these "new electronics" are a flow on from what it was that Stoner and his lecko found out as a cure?

I think when Rossi goes out on his warmup lap tomorrow and checks his balls as usual he should calculate if they are as big as Stoners. I think not. Stoner is going to crush him software or not.

Hey Blue Cielo, thanks for this great article ! Why don't you just upload it here ? Here I'll do it for you....

...........
Stoner said they have a great progression after the Catalunya 2- day test, great progress? will you believe that in Barcelona Stoner's testing has nothing to do with anything mechanical, physical, metal, or tangible? They tested mainly on the software...

..............
Please note! I have no intention to take away something from Stoner, Rossi, Ducati or any other team. I just think it is strange that the engineers/programmers/ now decide of how to make a fast bike, not a rider. Even Rossi urged Yamaha to update the software of his Yamaha.

Strange, but true.

Note I mentioned Rossi either, so I hope that's fair enough....

Yamaha did not use the new electronics package on the M1 for Rossi, unlike Stoner and Ducati who are estatic the difference electronics have made to their bike.

It was deemed to risky at this point in time to use.

Rossi looking to improve pace in Germany

"For sure I'm not happy after today's practice! This afternoon we tried some modifications to the setting and we decided to try a softer set-up, but things didn't work how we hoped and we couldn't improve our time. In the fast corners I wasn't fast enough, and I was always a little bit wide. This afternoon I couldn't ride how I wanted to. Obviously this afternoon's choice is not the right way for us at this circuit and therefore tomorrow morning we will return to this morning's set-up and try to close the gap to Casey. I didn't try the new electronics today and actually at the moment it's more likely that we won't this weekend, but I did try some different Bridgestone tyres and we found one which we think will be okay for the race. I am confident that our potential is more than today so we will do our best to improve tomorrow."

Soon he'll use the new electronics, I read somewhere in the internet maybe after the break (Brno).

One things for sure, with the championship as close as it is getting, each team is going to be trying all sorts of 'tricks' to try and improve their chances!

Eh, guys, is it just me who heard that what Ducati actually did at Mugello and Catalunya was to put in the old '07 engine with electronics and the full works? The software "fix" after Catalunya was in reality a completly revised '08 engine including electronics.
