No doubt. But Sacchi is in it for the cash.

As for Redding/crutch and their team changes...
Does anyone think it is not done without Dorna cash?

Tech 3 seats were substantially subsidised by Dorna for many years, but then so was Rossi's evacuation from Ducati back to a Factory Yam.

The Police corps have an old tradition of sponsoring young athletes in all disciplines, enrolling them to guarantee them a living and then helping them to train and compete (rather than putting them on actual duty). But the real cash will always come from some sponsor.
