I thought thry already had the trial and Max got through. Will ask my mate who sponsors a guy from Geelong. Will keep you posted. Piss poor reporting of this...if it were a baseballer going over we'd hear more.
 
I was talking to Max's dad, the are heading to Spain in a few weeks. Same time as Philip Island
 
from what I've read (and from your first hand reports) Max is through, but still not certain of the other 5.
 
RBR, I believe. Let me do some questioning/checking and I'll see if I can get to the bottom of this for us.

I am at a loss to find any list, BWB.

Was going to catch up with a mate for some hearsay evidence but he's bedridden.
 
It's near impossible finding or hearing anything in aus. I'll know for sure when max's old man returns from Spain. Update then.
 
The Rookies Cup Selection Event is on the 16th October, so it is a bit hard to find info until closer to then. From what I understand, you get a 15min session on track, and maybe a second if there is time. Then you get invited back for day 2, or you go home.


 


It's not easy to get accepted for the trials, so good luck to all the Aussie kids on their way over.
 
And that's the frustrating thing, Max has been accepted but there's mention of 6 riders for the trial.

Might just have to be patient.
