Red Bull Indianapolis GP

Okay...this is totally geeky but...I just ordered our tickets for the Red Bull Indianapolis GP!!!!!

So it's more than a year away, and there may not even be an earth by then, but if there is...we will be at the races!!!!

bet they dont send them until about 3 weeks before the race so you wont even get to flash them about to your mates.

I am SO excited! I think is must be exactly the opposite of what CURVES must have felt on Sunday while watching Lady Bird's funeral.

I have not ordered tickets yet, but we do have rooms reserved already!!!! Definitely going to be there!

It worked for me yesterday. I did call about pit passes, they said they would add info for that at a later date.

I made my application.

Just clicked on the send my application button and got my confirmation email. Funny thing is, Expedia won't accept my booking dates for flight and hotel. Damn thing will only let me book up to a year in advance. Apparently it’s too early! Haha. Yeah only 14 months to go. Can’t wait. Oh man, and all three classes. I guess this will help quell the cries of the purists out there, but I’m sure they will have other things to complain about. They are making plans to address all safety issues, removing walls and guardrails, and will also repave the entire track for the event.

Who will be the first ever winner at Indy? Go Hayden!

I think we will have to wait for a while yet to book rooms. I even tried calling a couple of places...nobody books that far in advance.

I believe they have said they have about 4 - 6 million in changes to the track they will need to do. Right now it's not all that safe in some of those corners but by Sept 14th next year they will have it ready....we will see.

i'll get my tickets later on....i plan to save as much cash as possible...
i hear in the area of the track, the local people rent out the front yards of their homes cheap so people can camp out...





PS: are we getting the ....... 2-strokes now!?!................ PLEASE!

I think they might put in some curbing at the end of the front straight or something. Turn 1 looks INSANE!! otherwise.
