Rd17 - OR Thailand Grand Prix 2023

MM finished ahead of 6 Ducati riders, several of them quite young, on a Honda.

This can’t possibly have happened obviously, so the broadcast I watched must have have been faked, like the moon landing.
Yes, ONE TRICK PONY seems to be doing a Jorge Lorenzo! Nakagami not so much.😬

A Espargo must've made a mistake on the last lap and Marquez got past him. He passed MM again but MM got him on the last corner.
He will fight when he can. I liked it.
Didn't look like AE did as he made some gesture after the finish.
Beautiful block pass it was 😁

I can't wait to hear how the 8x trick pony was able to finish 4th in the race. This should be hilarious. I bet it is a mix of sabotage and the honda being the best bike on the grid.

Reasonably interesting race. Not sure it it's the racing that's just less absorbing or just getting jaded in my old age. Some great passes here and there. Martin is still an animal. Interesting to hear him speak post race about pacing himself. Sounds like he's been doing a little introspection. Let's see if he follows through with that thinking tomorrow. Can't help but wonder what's going on with Bagnaia. Has he really become so inconsistent or is there some issue that the crew is getting wrong with the bike? He looked pissed, like a poncey little prince after the race. Alternately, tho, I have to say, I do take issue with ....-head camera guys poking their long lens between crew member's armpits to get a shot of a MotoGp champion looking depressed and dejected. The whole thing with cheezy mass media ........ always trying to sensationalize the shame or defeat of those who achieve what others only dream of, is ....... wearisome as hell.

It seems like since Bagnaia's nasty cold tire crash he has been slow to get going. This race was good for Martin's confidence since he had a week to fester about the wrong decision at Philip Island. If Martin repeats tomorrow, he will be back in the drivers seat for the championship.

Don't really get online much over the weekends but have to say, Marc was rider of the race for me. That Honda had no business fighting with an Aprilia and he was an animal on the last lap, especially the last corner!

Martin is riding like a champion, pecco is not. He never seems to be able to step up when the pressure is on and his comments of losing time in a "useless" battle with Alex Marquez and Bezzechi stinks of entitlement.
Maybe if you qualified better and started better, you wouldn't be in these situations.

I'm going to start a separate thread and I know he had some technical issues, but Bastiannini needs to up his game next yr otherwise I can't see Ducati NOT replacing him mid season...

I know it's the way the sport has gone but I'm not enthused about riders cruising around looking for a tow. The end of Q2 was a mess.

On the bright side, if he loses to to Martin, he can still easily win a World Entitlement Trophy now that Rossi is no longer in the running.

Ditto. We are here to watch racing not watch how people handle disappointment.

Don't forget this is the same TV company that crowded and zoomed in in Bagnaias fiancé crying outside the medical centre when he crashed in Barcelona. This was BEFORE we knew he was OK and many thought at the very least that his season was over.

Totally disgusting and tasteless.

Yea, AE ran wider than Lizzo's ... and there was no cause for him to be upset. Nothing wrong with Marc's pass at T-12. That's what he does at that turn.

Wow, two awesome races in a row. The first half of the race I thought I was watching a Moto3 race.
This place has delivered fantastic racing, looks like Tilke finally designed a good one.
Gutted for Brad but at least it didn't cost him a podium this time.
