I was looking back at past seasons and how people finished. I have always thought Randy de Puniet was a bit of a "crash master" and looking at his stats he certainly has had quite a few "retires". In 2006 he had 7 retires, in 2007 he had 7 retires, in 2008 he is sitting at 1 so far. In the past few years, he could say it was the Kawa, but now on the LCR, if he continues his crash prone career in GP he will have no one to blame but himself.

So will he improve or will he keep his streak of crashes going? The thing that bothers me most is when his crashing takes out other riders who are competing for the championship (not often but has happened). Maybe Ducati should of picked up RdP instead of Melandri, hell they turned Stoner (a crasher in 2006) into a champion.

If he crashes more than De Angelis then someone wants to have a word with him.

You know, that's an interesting point. Both Randy and Casey ride over the edge pretty frequently.

To make the Ducati go fast you have to be willing to bin it. Maybe RDP would actually do really well at Ducati. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

I kinda hope that happens some day.

Who else thinks RDP has a very strange riding style? The way his body looks over the bike its almost as if he's a policeman or something. I think he's competing with Westy and Elias for most rediculous looking motogp rider.
