given the right equipment, I believe he can....he was never going to get the right equipment from Honda.....he was always the 2nd rider........., if Honda wasn't going to take care of Rossi, why would they do anything different for Hayden?

Still, the last 5 or 6 races from 08 saw Hayden getting better results...so it was a step in the right direction as far as Hayden on the Honda goes.....but now it's a different animal all together....so I guess we will get to see more "Hayden is ...." posts from you while he gets the Ducati sorted for his liking....but that is okay...would expect nothing less from you!

If that is your honest opinion and you are not wishing him ill, then fair enough. I would have thought that if hayden does badly it will mean the ducati is not much good, but it is certainly possible that the ducati is such a strange beast that another good rider will go badly whilst stoner goes well.

Even apart from nicky being a big hearted trier and a gracious individual whom I wish well, it would certainly be to stoner's advantage if nicky could get up there and take points away from rossi on occasion.

The time's might not meen that much due to the absence of several riders and the lack of laps by others but still bloody nice to see nicky and marco on the top of the score sheets

just came back from a little holiday weekend, and the first thing i did, as always when i got home was opening my firefox and start up powerslide and motogp.com and oh my god!!! hayden fastest?! is this a hayden fan hacking the site?! am i dreaming?!

so i clicked the link and voila a normal looking post set-up(picture+big header) so it aint a hacker...
with almost tears in my eyes i start reading about my fave rider... "little action on track as rain hampered the work of the MotoGP field in the Middle East." wtf, this is a hacker!!! rain in qatar?! its a damn desert!!! i kept on reading and i convinced myself its not a hacker, still, having barely beaten melandri kawasaki was my dream finish, but not kallio being three!!!

dont get me wrong, i am huge melandri fan from 2006, where he was so ....... fantastic!

but hayden and melandri beating some kids at impossible weather isnt really that cool, its something i'd expect hayden to do, cuzz he's top class... this test results mean almost .... to me... where the .... is stoner?!, and rossi, capirex, dani?

but guys, HAYDEN'S FIRST ON DAY ONE!!!!!!!

and so i should stop whining and start sleeping, gotta wake up early tomorrow

go hayden, go melandri, you guys are the men!!!, only jorge and casey up there and ofcourse his royal rossiness himself and 2009 will be the year of years
