Puig really is a d**k!

teach him a few "home truths" about gp racing...

the other week it was doohan who quite rightly imo said "the problem with dani is the people around him". i expect his name is no longer held in a good light with dani/puig and probably some at hrc for saying that. the truth hurts you know

But did anyone else hear Randy Mamola on Eurosport, think it was at Misano, say that Dani has one friend in the paddock, an old japanese mechanic from his 125 and 250 days. And the reason for this is, Puig basically won't let Dani socialise in the paddock. What a ......! I feel so sorry for Dani more than anything.
Are you kidding? Fell sorry for someone who if HE wants to can pretty much grow a pair and say this is how things are going to be. .... at least Pedrosa has a championship, when they talk of Pig the say former 500cc race winner. Big ...... deal ohhhh.. The two of them are perfect for each other and next year they won't be any further along. Firstly Dovi will kick his ... and ultimately Hayden will throw up the finger as he passes assdrosa on the track. Puig is such a moron for attacking a teammate that is leaving. It just goes to show what an ... he is and how gay he is for Dani. Plus how can you say that Hayden COPIED all Dani's set ups from before? I just don't believe he copied them verbatum. No way. Plus the last few races Hayden seemingly had done better than Dani.

i notice that puig has not mentioned any pedrosa "starfish rustling" incidents in this interview.
trying to divert attention by slinging nicky under a bus at every opportunity..

Thats quite sad hey, no freinds.
I watch and see all the time that Stoner always goes outts his way to try talk and say hello to Danni
not cos he wants to get into the Inner Circle, but they grew up together, and i think Casey knows the pressure he is under from Puig, plus knows he aint got no mates in the paddock.
I think if Danni could get away from Puig then we could see a differant guy..

His success in MotoGP will never be realised through Dani.

Check out the article on www.Motogpmatters.com and especially the link to Hayden's El Pais interview which was published in Spain on Monday. Nicky was not exactly flattering about Puig so that probably got him all worked up, hence the tone within the interview.

Maybe I have watched too much soaps, but I missed a good cat fight in MotoGP.

Well, all i can say is PuIG is good for one thing. Making everyone on this forum unite... in hating him. Nobody in the motogp paddock has that power to make everyone agree on a single unquestioned opinion... that his a .... and a ....... .......!!!

puig is taking parting shots at the only rider to bring honda a championship in recent memory.
that's grattitude isnt it.
They don't deserve a rider with the character of Nick, and in the end they will regret how they treat loyal riders such as nick. Honda need to assess puigs leadership, and the role that he plays for HRC.
VR was onto something when he left, and HRC will pay for his arrogance one day and only have themselves to blame.
This only give nick and Duc more incentive for next year, and I hope it bites them in the ... in the future. Nick does not deserve the ingrattiude they are showing him, but what do you expect for HRC

Don't speak too soon, I'm sure Tom will have one of his "alternate views".

(Or somebody like Tom).

Difficult to see how anyone could disagree with the general sentiment here.
I think most people see this as the views of a bitter and small minded man, at best they are subjective spin, at worst they are barefaced lies.
Even if there are a few people who share his views, surely even they would admit that to say this sort of thing in public is extremely unprofessional and casts HRC in a very bad light.
The whole thing is indefensible.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (mr-brightside @ Oct 8 2008, 01:56 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Agreed, but Puig tries to say that this was Pedros "learning year" in motogp.
And Pedrosa still hasn't done it in two more seasons.

Are you suggesting Puig has repressed man love for Hayden and is acting out his frustration?

Damn...that's some really unprofessional answers by Puig. He sounds like a whining baby. I would really love to see Dani getting rid of this scum-face Puig and evolve as a mature rider.

No i don't think Nick is his type...one that can kick his .......He's obviously more in to the petite boys...ones that he can man handle...pun intended

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (bojuhl @ Oct 8 2008, 05:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Puig has no concept of "Team". He knows the only thing Repsol and Honda care about is getting the title. Crush the competition and the personalities. They may get a title yet because Puig is competitive, knows Motogp and pedro has talent. But I hope the mthafckrs never win another race. I personally would never buy another Honda motorcycle and will always cheer against that team as long as they have those personalities in the paddock.

Don´t know if I would include Honda in this, per-say, I think that they are just guilty of looking the other way for awhile so that they could keep Repsol money. They are an Asian company and team work, from what I understand, is very important in that culture. In the end Puig reveled himself to HRC and that can´t be good for him or for Dani. I can´t see Honda agreeing with the `just another rival´atitude. A team is a team is a team. Of course both want to win but in the end what the manufacture wants is not only the world champ title but also the team and manufactures trofies and with this atitude from Puig Honda will NEVER get that. Don´t thing that will work too well in their bussiness model.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Goldwing @ Oct 8 2008, 05:27 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>He has exposed himself to the fan base as well as the racing freternity, and that includes Honda.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (bojuhl @ Oct 8 2008, 05:54 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Where are our Spaniard friends on this list? Are there any? What is your take? I think it all boils down to what I have said before. Repsol wants their Spanish Champion and to hell with the rest of the world. One championship by Dani would mean more from a marketing standpoint than 10 by Hayden or Dovi. Very unlike Ducati or another sponsor who has more of a Global market then Repsol ( I know Repsol is Global but there shooting for a target market).

I have been saying this on this forum for awhile now. I commented on how after winning the title Hayden was not featured on any advertisemente over here (Ibeiran Pennisula). Repsol has money and that means power, they use that money to ensure advertising. A non-Spanish rider winning does them no good and the Pig knows that. Hopefully with Dovi in the picture and the new contract placing importance on results Honda will be back in control and Repsol will just have to deal.

That is very sad. We must not forget that Dani grew up with they guy whispering in his ear and even if he is an adult now he was formed in the image of the Pig. Having said that however, somethings have been done and said that Dani should have at least spoken up against...or at least spoken. It´s great of Casey to try and reach out...perhaps he should take Dani out for a drink and explain somethings.
