Puig really is a d**k!

Unfortunately the open ended stupidity and state of retardedness of Puig is going to be the down fall of Pedrosa in the end, if it isn’t already.

His statements are clearly an attack on Haden and his description of the events from 2006 and in the garage as well as his opinion of him, are a reality check of what Haden had to endure.

He has exposed himself to the fan base as well as the racing freternity, and that includes Honda.

That fact that Dani doesn’t fire him or even stand up to him is the reason that he is collecting most of the flack, and maybe seen as agreeing with him.

Puig is a dangerous man and as they say if you live with pigs…………….so it will have and impact on Dani.

Dani is a good rider, and pretty determined. Any good that he may of done in the past is pretty much being negated by Puig, and that’s unfortunate.

I really hate puig. I don't mind Dani too much. But did anyone else hear Randy Mamola on Eurosport, think it was at Misano, say that Dani has one friend in the paddock, an old japanese mechanic from his 125 and 250 days. And the reason for this is, Puig basically won't let Dani socialise in the paddock. What a ......! I feel so sorry for Dani more than anything.

Where are our Spaniard friends on this list? Are there any? What is your take? I think it all boils down to what I have said before. Repsol wants their Spanish Champion and to hell with the rest of the world. One championship by Dani would mean more from a marketing standpoint than 10 by Hayden or Dovi. Very unlike Ducati or another sponsor who has more of a Global market then Repsol ( I know Repsol is Global but there shooting for a target market).

This would make a great project for a University Sociology student. "What impact has Puig's influence had on the personality and behavior of Dani Pedrosa".

Could it be Pedro is not a bad midget and he has been extremely manipulated to the point of distortion by Puig.

Yeah, it's absolutely no wonder Dani is quoted in the press as saying that Nicky can't set up a bike. He's listening to this BS from his "mentor" week in week out!

I think he'd do himself a lot of good to get rid of Puig. HE is the one with the talent. I recognize that Puig brought him to where he is, but at this point he's no more than a lead weight to a drowning swimmer.

Unless Dani really is a social outcast, why would he keep Puig around. He has to know what is being said around the world,he is allowed to read isnt he. Dani is a grown man that can make his own choices, including who is his manager.Im not buying the battered child syndrome,i think they are 2 peas in a pod.

In a warped way Puig kind of reminds of the maniac parent with a kid in little league. The parent that takes it way to seriously, screaming and putting all kinds of pressure on their kid. Puig is trying to live a dream of a world Motogp championship thru his 'kid'. I think that if Pedrobot could dump Puig and lighten up, relax a little, he would perform better.

Certainly didn't gain any respect with Puigs' rant.

Has it ever been proven that Puig tried to get riders to boycott a race over the tires. If he did,why didnt Dorna lower the boom on him. Here in the states,a rider tried to get the other riders to boycott a race in a chicken .... series because of safety concerns and was hit with a huge fine and threats of expulsion. It didnt matter that the rider was right, and his concerns came to life when 2 riders almost died in the exact area he was concerned about.Dorna should have banished him for good if what they are saying is true because that would be totally self serving instead of concern for his fellow riders.

Haven't you heard what Bridgestone have been saying?

Dani might have problems on their tires next year?

Why don't they just say that Puig/Pedrosa are being banished from the sport. I think it's obvious that they could build a good tire for them, but they won't.

i think this thing with puig and pedro has gotten out of hand.

puig did help pedro to a 125 world title and then 2 250 titles. he does have some usefulness yes?
what has happened IMO is that puig basically was pedros guardian in the paddock, helping him navigate the pitfalls and advising him on how to achieve a title. problem is that pedro was too young to see puig taking over all aspects of his professional life until it is now too late. puig has too much control now.
IMO pedro is now so dependent on puig that if he were to fire him, dani would be clueless on where to turn to next. like a junkie, he needs puig, or a puig type figure to be able to compete anymore.
they are now inseperable and sadly, if split apart, dani would wither away and puig would search out his next 'protege'.
its lose lose for dani and no worries for puig. pedro will have to wean himself off of puig's influence slowly to be able to keep on riding at or near the front..

Puig is just sour that he didn't keep Stoner instead.

I have never felt the need for a racer to fail till Dani/Puig jumped into the big class. Next season I will be pulling for Dovi and Hayden and hope they do very well so I can ask Dani/Puig

I'm a bit shamed to admit that I cheered Dani's fall before checking that he appeared uninjured. I could never see myself doing that if any other rider was involved. The Dani/Puig package just inspires hate.

i was never a fan of dani's but i didn't dislike him really until the attempted race boycott. if that was puigs idea and dani does not agree with it he should tell puig to .... off and have nothing to do with him. dani is guilty by his continued association imo.

Well, i think its agreed that puig is a prize cnut.
But, should dani ditch him, and should he feel the need for another mentor, who would you suggest for him?
