his championship doesn't mean nothing for me, 6 seasons in factory honda and 3 wins, 2 on home gp. tamada has better percentage on satellite.
yes, but however it came about Nick still has a championship

unfortunately signing hayden means ducati accept mediocrity second year in a row. their constructors championship hopes gone even before next season starts

stoner kick his ... and that average rider found his place in wsbk in max. 2 years
I think we found PINKY!

Well don't jump the gun just yet pinky errr I mean 27. I think we will still be looking at stoner at the front but Nicky should be able to stick his nose in there to mess things up for the others. That is my realistic hope. My fantasy hope is that Nicky is the fastest most consistant rider on the Ducati and wins his 2nd championship. In conjunction with that I would take Stoner winning his second on the Duc. Either way Ducati wins! Ahhh but you still have that pesky Rossi don't we.

it will be a miracle if he stays in 1 second with stoner per lap

Did you happen to watch the Phillip Island race where Stoner and Hayden were super close and just about being run down by Hayden. If Nicky had the tires he would have been right there possibly even taking a win.

if hayden not american no way he will be in moto gp now.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (roger-m @ Oct 16 2008, 01:43 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>i hope he does well on it but i voted no because i look at nicky as one of those riders that need everything to be perfect to win races. the ducati is a real prototype esp with its new carbon frame. nicky needs tried and tested equipment not experimental stuff imho.
I disagree compa. I think the 06 bike was a bit of a testing machine for what they would evolve into the 07 mini bike. I do believe the Ducati is extreme and very unique, and as much only Stoner has really had any real success, but Hayden is super hungry. As far as the bike being designed around Stoner, I think you may be mistaken. The current evolution was designed while Loris was on the bike. Now the new carbon frame GP9 is another evolution of that former 800, that was a derivative of what Loris developed.

It will certainly be interesting. I'm a bit apprehensive about Hayden's chances. But I do trust a few things: a) Hayden will be respected and listened to B) development & design will not be one man driven c) Hayden has something to prove. Among other things, I think it has all the marks of great potential. It remains to be seen, but we will know soon enough.

BTW #27=PINKY

stoner tactically mastered race.

he's no in condition due to his injury to push from the start.

even with that handicap hayden not being able to overtake him in first half of the race

yeaaah ok.... colin edwards, Hopper.... Come on don't be down on the guy that could be Stoners wingman out there. He should be way better than Marco on the Duc.
