Rosi 207
Stoner 192
Pedrosa 171
Allthough Rossi don't have a good history with laguna he has the right tires this time and will be a contender. Hopefully Michelin has done their homwork so that Edwards and Hayden will be there too.
I'm afraid Pedrosa will miss the US race. Surgery and then a late departure traveling half way around the globe to risk his the rest of the season and maybe his whole career for a few points is something he is not going to risk. Even if he wants to go, others might have learnt something from Lorenzo's failures and tell him not to go.

So if Pedrosa really is unfit, who will be his replacement? I feel a poll coming on...
My prediction is that no one will have any points because Dorna will decide, like they did with the 990's, that in the interest of safety points must be eliminated.

Jumkie and I would take that right now with no argument.

Good luck on that one. I was actually thinking about canceling this year for that very reason. But I wan't to see how Spies does
as well as Marco Melandri
. Is there going to be a powerslide spot at laguna

im looking forward to watching AMA as well. i used to follow it years ago when it was on motortv. as for a powerslide meet up i think that would be great but you would have to arrange a meeting time/place with jumkie. i think last year they met up in burky art gallery but sadly he aint going this year.
im hoping it aint going to be to hot this poor old hairy northern hemisphere boy aint used to it. i got into trouble with the heat in valencia in 06.
Hayden will make his presence felt at his home race and Vermeulen always goes well here. They could both throw a spanner in the works for the title contenders.

I meant Spies in MOTOGP I already know whats going to happen in the AMA contest
You guys going to chill by the corkscrew? Last year I was sitting on the hill by turn 2.

If Hayden wins we'll have a "piss up" (I'm assuming that means a good thin in your strange language).
If Hayden doesn't do well, then I will be "pissed". Either way homeboy, we're gonna get smashed proper.

Sorry to Hijack the thread
Dude, PM me ASAP and exchange cell numbers. What do you mean "hijacking" this thread, we own this mothatfucker homie.
Anyway, screw the fancy and fuzzy math part, here is my prediction: Stoner title, Rossi runner-up, and please lord (though I don't like him) but get Lolly Pop back up there terrorizing Pedos.

It's not so strange - piss up is just what it sounds like - getting up the piss!!
The strange thing is when Americans say they are pissed. When I'm pissed, I'm usually talking more .... than I do here, and wake up the next day with a hangover. When I'm "pissed off", I'm angry.
See - it all makes sense.
Rossi to be leading Stoner by 15 points if dry, otherwise 11 if wet.
