Took the camera down to Philip Island on Saturday for the V8 Supercars and Australian Superbike races. Terrific day although as usual we had 4 seasons in one day.

damn!!! i think they need to invest in a tire wall at the end of that gravel trap! very lucky to have not had a real dissaster there.

There is discussion aroundthat in some of the forums, but as a lotthere are saying, if there was a wall of any kind there the injury to MoConville would have been catastrophic as his speed at that point was still near 200kmh. Plus, bikes have gone through the trap as well and one can imagine the issues should a bike with or without rider hit any wall at that point.
