Rossi unsure if he will race in Valencia MotoGP decider - MotoGP News

Gentlemen, he is basically doing what he did to get the Bridgestones, threatening.

Dorna will bail him out I have no doubt.

This is all part of his plan to get the media and fans to pressure Dorna into reducing the penalty points from 3 to 2 or whatever it takes to get that back of the grid penalty rescinded.

Disgusting.

Well this is all part of his plan to get the back of the grid penalty removed, which I am 100% certain is going to happen.

Frankly, I can't imagine being a fan of a guy who conducts himself the way he does. That's not a shot at you sparrows just so you don't think it is. I just cannot believe that a rider is allowed to have this much sway over the sport.

He will race, it would be foolish not to as anything can happen. Yamaha will force him to race or retire.

Rossi could do what the F1 drivers did at in Indy in 2005....go to the start line, do the sighting lap and pull into the pits to quit the race before it starts....

Rossi shouldn't have much trouble getting to at least 10th position by the end of the first lap. His poor qualifying has resulted in him starting from 10th this season so he should be familiar with the situation once he gets there.

Lorenzo will be riding carefully so it wouldn't surprise me for him to be in 3rd or 4th position until he realizes Rossi has closed up then all bets are off... the war still start.

He will race. He will start at the back. Because he is still one of the better riders, on the 4th or 5th best bike, he will make it interesting.

Repsol is what, a Spanish company? There's more than enough leverage being played by everyone over this incident.

The way it stands with VR at the end of the grid Honda is guaranteed to win. That's BS IMO. Assess the points but let VR win or lose the championship based on skill, not politics.

Honda has more pull with Dorna than anyone and are the biggest whiners out there if they are not winning. Winning is everything, even if it's the last race of the year. Wait until they back out of the control ECU next year.

Just to be Devils Advocate, let's say Rossi has a GREAT race. The Honda's are super fast and George can't get around them, maybe tries to hard and blows a corner or something, opening a window for Rossi to pull off the come from behind and finish close enough to George to our point him..

Can you just imagine... Yellow Army will be nuts.. It would be story book, fairy tail .... for the fan boys..

Rossi doesnt owe anything to anybody. If he wants to quit Valencia its his decision, and if Dorna doesnt have the ...... to keep the penalty, then thats the situation and you'll have to accept it.

If a rider wants to take another out, he can do it very easily.

@op you show only hate,all your posts where you talk about VR are full of hate and bitterness,why are you afraid there will be a fair race for the title?

And about Lorenzo,why is he such a .....?A wise and brave man would act different,i bet he would be happy if Valentino won't start the race just to be sure he win,a ..... not a champion.A real man would say something different like"i don't care about VR or MM or anyone out there,what i care are the 7 points that are between me and the world title"
Win it like a man,because you are the best not just because the other one got penalized.
