Didint movistar say they wanna have a spanish rider in yama? Dani would be perfect. Hes tiny and the yama is the smoothest bike and would suit him perfect.

Well they've messed the bike up 2 seasons on the trot so perhaps next year will see an improvement to the engine and power delivery, I'd love to see Dani have a reasonable chance of that elusive championship.
I would like to see Dani have a shot at a title as well, but he will never beat MM on a Honda capable of winning a championship, but might have had some chance against a 38 or 39 year old Rossi on a Yamaha if that bike was superior to Honda's.

I'm just thinking on the days when he and the Honda gel, he is unstoppable, even Marquez doesn't get near him. If they somehow build the 2017 bike without the troublesome power delivery and good rear traction.....
Sure, but that has been the case his entire career, including against Stoner. I would like to see it change, but he has previously had his totally untouchable week-ends only 2 or 3 times a year, his career long problem in the premier class, as well as all the injuries of course.
Totally agree. He had a chance to roll the dice on another bike & see what he could achieve. But he chickened out & stayed with what was familiar.
The was a leap of faith to be made, but he didn't have the courage to jump.
Dani is also a rider that is a little too track dependant I guess.
Very good at certain tracks like Sachsenring , but always poor at others like Philip Island.
