It's a result of them trying to take $900 off me once for a prick who ........... and tried to claim back for an eBay sale. I had to work pretty hard to win as the odds are stacked to the buyer. Really I think the only things that saved me were I didn't let the guy pickup the item until I'd cleared the funds out of Paypal to my bank account. Had to withdraw through my wife's account as well as I had exceeded the limit. I closed my Paypal account and then closed mine and my wife's bank accounts that had been linked. I also made the knob sign something saying he'd picked the item up and it was as described. I then gave evidence and witnesses that he'd mistreated the items to get them home. It would have worked out differently until they realized that they wouldn't get the money and had no way of getting it from me.



So... I will never have another Paypal account so if anyone has an alternative means of chipping in, let me know.
