Rossi isn't at the same level of rivalry with Pedrosa yet as he was with Giveitupnow.

Had to re-read that a few times to get it. Early in the a.m. here.
West can't be this bad. Listen to Hopper's latest rant. He seems to agree with West. The Kawi is not going anywhere this year. Meanwhile an all new GSVR is coming...and maybe it will even turn!!!

I think West is a league too high for his talent abilities, and Hopper is where the bike should be at the moment.
I read in MCN Kawasaki have more points at this point than they did last year, so it can't all be bad! But I do assume Hopper has taken the lions share of them.

Sure, but lat year they had Randy "I finish half my races" DePuniet and Olivier "Time to Retire" Jacque. Between them, they had 6 DNF/DNS up until this point in the season (although Nieto rode one race as well). DePuniet had the lion's share last season, even with 3 DNFs in the first 6 races(and more points than he has thusfar this season)!

But Rossi's success wave may prompt him to think in the region of €10m a year - €6m from Yamaha and €4m from personal sponsors such as Kerakoli and Nastro Azzurro. He has to pay the Italian tax authorities €30m after his recent tax dispute.
What the hell is a Kerakoli?
are those figures right, Forbes says Rossi earns $30M a year or 19M Euros

Kerakoll is one of the world's biggest chemical companies for the building industry.
