This is extremely cool and way good for the series

This is good news?? Great now we have another kamakazi who could possibly be pushing the boundries too much and end up taking out either Spies or Haga with his ....... antics. Simocelli is a egomaniac and a hot dog on and off the track. He is not going to just be satisfied riding around the track like it's his day off. He is going to COMPETE. And if he jells with the Aprilia, you can bet your ... he is going to fight up front for the win. But his ... sometimes writes checks his body and mind can't cash out there and it usually means he ends up torpedoing an unsuspecting rider in the process.

Lets hope Ben and Nori can get as far away from that Rossi wannabe as possible this weekend.

ty got it linked in the Tv.EPG.

He's injured and being replaced for this race by a rider already signed to race in a different series next year. Shinya could very well be gone next year, but I don't necessarily see this week as a sign of that.

Unless you think Simoncelli's going to turn his back on MotoGP, this is just an injured rider being replaced by an Italian riding for an Italian factory in Italy. Of course, it's been an awful long time since his injury, and who knows what his real fitness is - at the end of the day the public facts can be made to fit most any story you want them to. They're not really a smoking gun.

if he does in fact keep up on the track, he will be whipped out sooner or later. Fingers crossed he takes down Rea

Rea commits next two years to WSB with Ten Kate

By Michael Guy -

World Superbikes

25 September 2009 08:53

MCN can exclusively reveal that Britain’s Jonathan Rea will remain a WSB rider with the Ten Kate Honda squad in 2010 and 2011.

Despite receiving massive interest from rival WSB teams and MotoGP squads Rea has renegotiated his contract to stay with the Dutch team in a bid to win the World Championship.

Rea currently sits fourth in the 2009 series standings having won two races in his rookie WSB season.

As a result of his stunning form and future potential, Ten Kate Honda made it their priority to secure the determined 22 year old in their championship winning squad.

Speaking to MCN on Thursday night at Imola, Rea said: “I had a few distractions, flattering distractions mid way through the year from other teams, but now I know that I want to stay here and win the championship. The new contract has made my future clearer.
