going to donny and other meets as often as you like.

when you live on this pissy little rock it costs an arm and a leg to get off.
it seems that once they get you here they never want you to leave.

ooohhh lucky you

see ya at donny next year

Been before and it was a good weekend, still prefer two wheeled action tho!

Going with my mate, wifes & kids (inc my unborn baby - first rip for donny for him/her!! heh)....first of many.

With weekend like this you get up close an personal with the pits etc, last time got some great photos of me sat in some 355's,,,,drool

I was supposed to go to this last year but we got a puncture in Oxford and gave up (went drinking). This year i can't really afford to get up there because i have bigger events to plan for, i guess i'll try harder next season.

Whats the attendance like? are you camping as well or just spending the day there?

Looks like a good event to go to.

well it's free isn't it? Or if you wentto a renault dealer and picked up a leaflet it was anyway. Hope you have a good time all that are going.

I went, it was a pretty good event, great to see the old Renault Turbo's too, and a couple of JPS Lotus (possibly the most beautiful cars in F1 history).

Traffic was a bloody nightmare, though.

Christ on a bike it was busy!

We went on Saturday, trafiic was upto the usual donny stanard............having said that, the marshalls were quite good and they had tons of parking space (less camping).

Set off Sunday morn from a local hotel, and trafiic on teh M1 was stupid........we were 8 miles off and sat still on teh mway, plus Madelin McCann's parents were flying into East Midlands.

We turned around, wasnt gonna sit in traffic for 3 hours just to see a couple of hours of racing, then have longer to get out

If it was bike racing then I would have camped! and gone hoem on Monday..........they seriously have a frigging traffic problem!! rant

We were considering doing the same thing, but we ended up making another way round to Castle Donington, parking up there and walking it down. I must admit, I was pissed off with the traffic, it was pretty poorly organised from where I was sitting. Hopefully they'll sort it out for next year.
