no we need those mechanics they make an 800cc bike go faster than a 990 around sepang by 4 seconds!

its good because they make the sport worse

How about everyone get the same bikes, tyres and mechanics! Thats even! Why not even have a really wide starting grid and they all start along side each other.
 
How 'bout this? They should have the Red Bull Rookie bikes at each GP and have all the top GP riders grab one at random from a rack and race and 8 lap sprint - as a warm-up to the actual GP. That would be the ....! Actually this was really done years ago at the AMA nationals when Keith Code would lend out race-prepped GPZ550s to all the pro riders, factory and privateers, for a ten lap sprint on the same weekend as the Nationals and they were riding on street tires! Totally balls out racing. The bikes weren't exotic but the racing was fierce. I would know, I was there.
