Hello all from SW Florida!! Just back from Laguna and trying to find out how to post pics. I tried in the help section but could not figure it out. I'm not totally slow with computers but some what challenged. Any help would be could. I would love to show some pics especially one of Lorenzo letting us get a pic with him after the race. He was really banged up but was still very pleasant and his crew willingly shot a pic of my girlfriend and I.

Well you will need to upload the image somewhere like photobucket. After you have uploaded the images over there you will need the direct link to them that they provide. Then open a new post over here and click on the "insert image" tab. You will insert that link into the pop-up (make sure you are allowing pop-ups for this site). Click submit post. And that's it. Not sure if that helps, ask more specific questions and I or anyone will be happy to help.

Welcome

Or you can just simply upload the photos to the site as long as they are within the size limit.

Click browse, then find your pic, then click upload.

Look under the attachment settings under the post.

That didn't work, sorry for dragging this out but the file is 3MB and when I try to place the image with in the stamps, the site states "sorry, dynamic pages in the [img] tags are not allowed. I'm not sure what that means, the site that I uploaded it to was my "gallery" at apple's "me.com". I guess I need to try to upload it to photo bucket, maybe that's not a "dynamic" page??
Thanks for any further input.

Also, when I try to upload the image, I press upload (after finding it in my desktop), the site looks like its "working" for 20 secs then the Upload line disappears. I then can't manage any attachment. I suck, I'm obviously doing something stupid.

Paste the link of your image mate.

A 3mb file can be uploaded to this site, and shouldnt take that long depending on your net connection.

use something like paint shop to reduce the pictures to under 1mb each. an easy way i do that is just crop a bit of the borders off. hope you sort it, i would love to see your pics and read your storys.

and welcome to the site.

Sack,
Thanks man.....I feel like a moron. I'm obviously doing something wrong though. Anyway, yeah, after the race we picked out this random restaurant in monterey. It happened to be attached to a nicer hotel, my GF and I are sitting out there eating and I see a car pull up with some dudes with the black MotoGP jackets on. Then Jorge hobbles out, literally hobbles out with his right shoulder slouching. In a heartbeat, I grabbed my GF, set up the camera, and as politely as possible, in my best spanish (outta respect) asked for a photo with Jorge. He wasn't chatty or palsy walsy (which is understandable considering we just jumped on him in a parking lot), but he was pleasant and graciously said "Balle, Balle" in spanish, in Barcelona, thats "cool, cool". One of his entourage took the camera and shot two picks. We were polite, shook his hand and told him how courageously we thought he raced. Then went back to our dinner. I was a little happy on too much wine and bought a bottle for the "team" gathered in the parking lot. I grabbed 5-6 glasses and offered them some wine. Maybe that was too much but I couldn't resist. I was trying to spread some American Diplomacy.....and schmooze with one of our favorite riders. Well, the team grabbed a few glasses and had some wine but they said "no thank you for the rider, he can not drink". I felt a little silly but after pouring 5 of his group wine, I left them alone finally. All in all, it was a fantastic end to our amazing trip to California. Laguna was awesome, coastal California is EPIC, and we're appreciative to Lorenzo and his group for giving us a few minutes with Greatness!!

Thanks again for helping me out with my pic.

I just followed what Ben said above. Uploaded the photo and then attached it to the post. It was 3.2mb when uloaded so that wasn't even a problem. Keep messing with it and you'll get it.

BTW your wife looks to be getting a bit close there. You a bit jealous eh?

You got that right Sack!!, she kept saying "Hey look babe, in the pics he's leaning real close to me, jeez wonder why that is?" Unfortunately I didn't have the heart to tell her that he was standing on one leg, his left (his right ankle still feeling the high-side effects), and his right shoulder was the one with the separation, thus he's leaning toward her...........at least thats what makes me feel okay with it and all?

As far as uploading the photo Sack, I swear I'm not mentally handicapped, each time I try that upload thing with the photo in desktop, I press upload and the entire 5 sentences "select a file, chose file, upload, max.single upload, attachment space, blah, blah, blah, disappears and then I can't "manage current attachments". I even opened an account with photobucket and after getting the link from that pic the forum still stated "error", "cant place dynamic pics in IMG brackets". I've posted photos on other forums exactly the same way and it's always worked. Could I have some security setting dorking it up, or does it have something to do with me using a mac?? Sucks man cause I'd love to share more pics but i've posted so many questions here already, Im afraid people are going to think I drool on myself and have to wear a man diaper! Thanks for your patience though.....

In photobucket they give you 4 options. You will want to select "Direct Link" and put that into the popup script.
