Thank you, Franco. Big fan of Senna myself; his "Principles of Race Driving" is one of my favorite books.

I actually never read that one. That's not a biography, right?? I only read some biographies like: As time goes by''.

Do you still watch F1 then??

welcome matey, enjoying reading your posts. pity you didn't share you opinions sooner and more often, you seem fair and balanced but with a sense of humour.

Not a biography. I think it was published in '93. Read all about it: http://www.amazon.com/Ayrton-Sennas-Princi...g/dp/1874557403

The Carroll Smith books, especially Drive To Win, are also very useful. Besides bikes, I raced shifter karts, FF, F2000, and Formula Mazda, and these books saved me more than once.

Yes, I still watch every F1 race.

Do you have a favourite? Or do you just watch it?

Right back at 'ya, roger.

I guess I waited this long because I used to feel that, while entertaining, some discussions here would deteriorate into personal attacks; and as a friend of mine likes to say "Life's too short for strife".

But I decided that there's always going to be trolls, and as long as I defend myself fairly and not start the mud-slinging myself, I'll be OK.

No favorite, just like the technical aspect and the racing (or the sometimes 'processional/pit strategy' racing).

At this point anyone I cheered for is either retired or dead. The only two I active cheered were E. Fittipaldi and Senna.

welcome WB, nice to see another poster with a dose of common sense..and the humour too!

enjoy the board and dont feed pinky...

Thank you Dazza & BigAl.

Al, I've read about Pinky

He has his views and his way of presenting them, which he's entitled to. My reaction to that is the only thing I have control over.

The "Hong Kong" thread reminded me of this guy who took a screenshot of his desktop...and he had a folder labeled "Shemale vids"!

He later tried to explain it away as a 'practical joke' here, and got nailed again.
