Oh you're going to run away from home again HRC? Here, let us pack your teddy and a juice in your little backpack for you. Go on, on your way then.

Honda is not the only team in GP but they have such a large say I how they want MotoGP run. Maybe if they do defect to WSBK, they will realise their bikes are not up to the standard set in the last few years

I'm sure many others will join when they leave

Really you two?? This is proto type racing. Spec ecu & spec tires. Why stop at those two? Lets spec the riders suspension, frames, motor etc etc. This series went south when the spec tires started.

I won't argue your point Evo cause I can see where ur coming from, but if you can tell the difference between this years bikes and a spec ecu bike, I'll buy u a beer
<

The only way we as spectators will see any difference will possibly be the sound coming out the pipe, and even that may be the same depending on what systems have been put in place.

It will be interesting to see Yamaha & Ducati's reactions to this. Would it be terribly unsporting of them to push for a spec ecu & give Honda a gentle push out of competition ?

This series went south with the fuel limit, and 800cc. Followed by the engine rule, The control rubber was the final and rather large nail in the coffin.

Most of these regs were directly influenced by which manufacturer?

I'm not in favour of a spec ecu as i was also against a spec tyre. I wish dorna would stop ....... with .... as it always back fires. That being said i am even more against the big H holding dorna and the sport to ransom every time they want a rule change or are against a rule change.

Except that if you read the article it says that yamaha and ducati are in agreement, although I find ducati being in agreement unlikely personally.

No doubt ducati, and before them suzuki and kawasaki, have been screwed. What I don't see is why honda cop blame and yamaha don't. The sport has been a duopoly for 30 years.

800cc and fuel limit definitely heavily influenced by honda, not to their advantage in 2007 though when you and others complain ducati had an unfair advantage in winning their only title. Also I think there was some genuine intent from most parties to limit speed for safety reasons after kato's death, but the 800 formula ended up being misguided even from that point of view imo.

Spec rubber not down to honda, down to valentino, dani and dorna imo.

Engine rule I had also thought to be one of dorna's fabulous backfiring cost control measures, as roger thinks a spec ecu may be, but david emmett does seem to think honda were strongly involved.

It went south with the introduction of four strokes....been going downhill ever since. But I agree with you that the fuel limit, engine regs and control tires have no place in a premiere class racing series.

The MSMA is not Honda.....the other factories have veto power to stop any rules going through that they dont agree with and Yamaha are every bit as guilty as Big H in allowing these rules to go through IMO.

I personally think it's ROSSI who first started the corruption in MotoGP........ it just began to snow-ball up to this point.
