<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Anders GUZZI @ May 25 2008, 01:05 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Psyco-megaboring Pedrobot

I don't think Lorenzo is going to be on the podium because it is such a fast flowing track were you need to have the right line for many turns in a row to not loose a lot of time. And have the right exit line for the next turn.

Psycho-megaboring Pedrobot? Get on the back of a bike with him and see if you keep that opinion.

That's Lorenzo's forte...let's see '05 second to Pedrosa, '06 won the race, '07 four laps from the finish knocked off after a rash challenge by Bautista - still finished 8th. If you're suggesting his injuries might impede him in the race I think it's unlikely. This is precisely the sort of circuit that plays to his strengths - which are themselves it would appear, manifold. Post again in a weeks time when he's astounded us all again with another great performance in qualifying and yet another podium finish.

1-rossi
2 lorenzo
3 pedrosa
4 stoner
5 hopkins

any one else care to predict qually?
i think michelin will still have the edge, i think on the shorter circuits they tend to have more of an edge where as the bridgestones give grip for longer.

ok my qually prediction:

pole -lollipop Lorenzo
2nd - Pedrobot
3rd - the doctor
4th stonefish
5th texas tornado
6th Kentucky kid

Perdosa might be fast but that has nothing to do with my opinion of him.
He is not even looking into the camera no matter what,in interviews people say, aren't you happy now that you have won ,or what ever.?-He sais -it was a good race, talking like a robot, and so on...
About Lorenzo,i think what he is doing is incredible, even if he is on the best bike and in the best team this year,so far.We will see what happends.I just think that seeing him in China after the injury for instance he was very close to another crash two times. That track is more of :brake hard, turn ,open the throttle early, when mugello is more of holding a perfect line in as high speed as possible.
He could very well surprise again, and do a perfect race with his injuries we will see,but maybe it will be harder on this track.

1. Valentino Rossi
2. Dani Pedrosa
3. Jorge Lorenzo
4. Casey Stoner
5. Colin Edwards

There's my top 5 prediction for Mugello

Welcome GPFan!

I think it's rash to make predictions based on what we know so far considering the big unkown of the coming weekend ie Honda's new engine. It might be ..... and it might be great. When Yam put in a new engine last year it didn't last the race.....

Having said that, I say Rossi for the win.
I'm also hoping Melandri gets his finger out and Dovi finds something extra on home ground, so I'd like to see both of them in the top 5.

My prediction would be (based on Honda getting it right)
1) ROssi
2)Pedrosa
3) Lorenzo

If rossi could win in 2006 and 2007, it is hard to see him losing this year unless michelin have a major advantage.

There is always a first time buddy. I'm going for Hayden to stop the Italian's winning streak. (But if he doesn't win I think it will be a tie between Rossi & Stoner)

It's funny, we all clown Edwards and say he should be in WorldSBK, yet he's constantly places in many peoples top five for a race and he's 5th in the championship. The "currently" 5th best rider in MotoGP doesn't belong......strange.

A brave man bets agaisnt Rossi this weekend! However Bridgestone have never won a race here and Stoner wont go down easy. The usual players at the front then.

im expecting rossi lorenzo pedrobot and stoner to break away, then later on in race rossi and lorenzo will break away from the other two and it will be a 2 way battle between the two yamahas with pedrosa finishing a lonely 3rd
