Hey,

The commentry team mentioned the -32 cartoon so thanx for digging up the photo.

Im going for

1) Capper

2) melandri

3) Hopper.

Hello, this is my first post in the forum.
Ex amature road racer from Norway.

Here is my guess:

This will be dominated by Italians as it was last year. Rossi's team will make sure every ting works and he will take the win. Capi did good last year, as did Melandri, but Capi got better tires this year and will do better. Pedrosa will follow the Italian trio follwed by Hayden unless Pedrosas lack of top speed make him to easy to pass. The long powerhungry straights will also rule out the Kawas and Suzukis.

1. Rossi
2. CapiRossi
3. Melandri
4. Pedrosa

Have to agree that the Suzukis and Kawas won't stand a chance... although Hoppa is due for some luck.

Rossi will be very determined and hard to beat although the Hondas will be strong and Cappirossi usually puts in a good show here.

Race could be won by any of 6 riders.... the wise money has to be on Rossi though. Great to see such an open chamionship this year!

oh.. and what's with the -32 decal on Rossi's bike?

it was put on by rossi as joke to show the points he was behind in the chamionship 32pts,i bet he not seeing the funny side now ?

Thanks for finding that Doc Costa, I read about it and wanted to see it.

As for who will win, well you can't discount any of the Italians or the Repsol boys. Hopkins has always enjoyed Mugello and seems to be in top form.

Head Says:
1. Rossi
2. Melandri
3. Capirossi

Heart Says
1. Rossi
2. Capirossi
3. Hayden

Hard choice: I'm pretty sure an italian will win the race: Rossi, Capirossi or Melandri are up to the job. Who knows maybe Dani strikes again or Hayden, Sete or Hopper ruin the party for the italians.
My podium will look like this:
1.Loris
2.Rossi
3.Dani

ooo .... this'll be a toughie ... YAY im lovin' this season so far!

Head says:
1) Rossi
2) Melandri
3) Hayden/ Hopper

Heart says:
1) Gibbers
2) Hayden
3) Stoner

now watch none of them place anywhere near where i said...

I think if Rossi can keep the bad luck away, he'll win it convincingly. The way he rode at Le Mans was pretty amazing. If ever you wanted to see a great rider out to prove a point it's this next few races. He's under the biggest pressure of his entire career, how he handles it is gonna be interesting now that the shoe is on the other foot. The Dukes will devour that front straight and Loris will be trying extra hard as will his entire team so as long as it's not to hot for the bridgestones I'll back him for second place. A lot of Mugello is very like Le Mans with more elevation changes, a couple of slow turns and several medium speed chicanes so Dani has to get his tyres right......and start shaking both legs and occasionally wave his arm to help him through turn 1. I think he's gonna struggle here after 3/4 distanece so I'm gonna say Marco for third just because he's Italian.

Seeing as it's the Italian GP who rules there other than the Italians so my top 3 are

1 Valentino Rossi

2 Marco Melandri

3 Loris Capirossi

I`m thinkin Rossi is gonna win it or bin it. Nothing with a "B" on the front fender is going to stand a chance, unless theres a crazy italian geriatric on it`s back, Meladri will be strong, Got a gut feeling Repsol`s luck ends here, or at least gets put off, so I`m saying

Rossi
Melandri
Capirossi

Head ... I'm not listening to it.

Mugello: The one time of year Spaniards don`t want to watch the MotoGP. Teo, just to rub it in, you know that podiums gonna be draped in Italian flags, don`t you?
Oh well, not to worry, mate. One of the 762 Spanish rounds must be coming up soon.

I wouldn't count on Pedrosa failing to get on the podium ... I just don't know on which step will he be.

Rossi

Melandri

Capirossi

I'm sooooooo looking forward to this one,but bugger I'm on my summer hols as from middle of next week so I'll have to find a pub that will show it and I'm not holding out much hope cause I couldn't find one that showed it last year in the same resort
<

Fingers crossed I find one and if Rossi wins I can celebrate and get pissed
<
and if not then I can drown my sorrows

I hope your right. I accidentally hired him before Mugello. Stupid mistake, hiring a Spaniard to run in a race that only an Italian will win, barring a miracle. Why didn`t I get Melandri? Oh that`s right. Pedrosa was cheap
<

I made the same mistake Richo, massive overhaul of the team with enough money to get Rossi but who did I sign instead? The Kentuck Kid, what was I thinking?
