I'm NOT worried about his times yet, hes got time and testing is rareley an accurate representation of whats to come anyway. I just thought he'd look better on the bike than he does.

Well, In all fairness, Casy Stoner is about half the size of Nicky Hayden, so of course Stoner looks more nimble and natural on the Duc. But I have to agree with you...Nicky does look a bit bulky on his new ride.

This is funny, Nicky is actually quite a small fellow himself.

It is good for me and everyone. The sport needs strong competition. Everyone knew that Suzuki could build the bike but it took Capirossi to show them what to build...not over yet but a great start.

congrats to capi, wasn't long ago there were several peeps here saying he was too old and past it and should free up his seat to a young gun . Guess the old boy still has some fire !

im a bit worried that Hayden is quite a bit slower than gibbers

I hope this isn't a false dawn for suzuki. We've seen it before - suzuki test well and quickly into the season they fall apart. I hope they do something this season, but I'm not counting on it. Anyway, I predicted they'd be out of motoGP by season midpoint along with kawasaki. Kawasaki was early, I hope it doesn't happen to suzuki. I like CV and Loris. I'd love to see Capirex win a title, or at least a few more races before he retires.

Keep the faith. i don't think Suzuki is going anywhere. The remarkable thing with this start is that they are actually in the top position timewise and also ahead of the winning pace last year. That is not something that they will back off from unless reliabililty problems hit. And, they have been very good on that front for a couple of years now, better than most. Maybe the others will go faster yet as I expect but from what I have read it is a real step forward with radical changes in all aspects of the machine. Two bikes in the top 4 is pretty fine work and let's not forget about CV he is right up there also...where are today's results?

Always the showman.

Thanks 46. Great pics. Question, was this thing open to the public? Just wondering who the wheele is for by Rossi.

Gsfan, great first day for you. Loris is a warrior. I have a lot of respect and admiration for him. I hope he is given a fighting chance on what I think might be his swan song. Anyway, I know its not about Capirex for you but rather the Suzuki brand, and again, I hope it does well.

Rog, for the record, I called for Vermi's seat, NOT Loris'.

My guess is Loris saw the odds on him and he got 'pissed'. (< that means 'angry' for you Brits).

Thanks Jum.
You mean the test itself? Yes, only journalist and reporters were allowed. So, my friend registered himself as photographer from Valentino Rossi's fan Forum.

Well at least he's in the top ten... for the moment.

I guess I can put the 45 sleeping pills back in the bottle...for now.
