<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (mylexicon @ Feb 5 2009, 12:04 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>They finally have a vid of the action on motogp.com

The GSV-R800 looks like it has a wider front fairing with angular protection for the riders hands. It looks like an updated 916 or RC51 with a trapezoidal air intake. It's not bad looking.

The chassis looks very narrow, and the bike is fitted with the silencers that Nobatsu was testing last season. It appears to be very smooth almost as smooth as the M1.

I agree it does look quite smooth. Obviously having a good effect. New engine looks to be working well also.

I'm not sure but i think i saw a picture of Loris on the 09 bike and it was carbon black.I will look it up.Maybe the Youtube clip was on the 08 for reference,i have no idea.
Dang! I was kind of surprised to see him on top.On the other hand Stoner and Rossi isn't all well, and it's the first day and so on..But the suzukis are not completely lost.Vermuelen said something earlier this winter that Loris wasn't all comfortable on the bike, even at the end of 2008!!!I guess that windtunnel testing was quite extencive then.Plus engine improvements.

I know that Lorenzo struggled in testing last year, but he was a rookie. When the races finally started he was at the sharp end. I really expected to see him more towards the front of the pack. Is this his style for pre season testing?

First impressions of test: M...., you continue to be an ___________.

EDIT: To protect the fragile haters who have no problem throwing rocks but can't handle the heat when the push back comes. As usual, people who will remain nameless might want not to throw rocks since its clear they live in a glass house. Somebody please remind me what the anarchy symbol stands for? Uhm, yeah, rebel, right, as in rebel without a clue. (Yeah, I can be pseudo-ambiguous too.)

You may be frustrated by Nicky performance and you may want to blame that on others....but it is all down to him....

Good luck to him and you.

I'm not too disappointed by Haydens times or placing at this point, its still early days. However i am a bit disappointed that he/his stance look nowhere near as cool as Casey on the Ducati, nor as cool as i thought he looked on the repsol.

Holy .... give the dude at least a collective week to sort the bike out. He in total has had barely 48 hours at best in total on the GP09. So dang we will see him get better. He isn't even tweaking the settings yet from what he says until he gets a bit more speed. I think he will surprise you just like I was surprised by Depuniet not crashing yet.

He is supposed to have another kind of approach this year. His manager said in 08 he was feeling pressure to go fast too early in sessions. This year he will probarbly be higher up in the tables on saturday then.

Did you actually see what i wrote. I'm NOT worried about his times yet, hes got time and testing is rareley an accurate representation of whats to come anyway. I just thought he'd look better on the bike than he does.

anyone notice that suzuki isnt sporting any rizla logos? I guess this answers the question of them losing sposorship. take a look at the leather they were wearing, they look like the pre-rizla colors.
so what now?
