All CRaP racing put together = competitive CRaP racing = good racing

It looks like Anthony "Ant" West is going to be back in GP next year on a CRT according to his facebook.

We should keep this thread going and include other personnel changes and team changes during the off season.

No matter what we think of the CRTs the grid is growing, more guys are getting a chance to race in GP, and we have something to talk about.

Could you give more like a list of all teams and riders that are confirmed yet?

like

Repsol Honda:

C. Stoner

D. Pedrosa

Ducati:

N.Hayden

V. Rossi

etc.

I mean everything that is known so far. Im desperately searching the net for it but i find nothing!

Is this right so far?

Repsol Honda:

Dani Pedrosa

Marlboro Ducati:

Valentino Rossi

Nicky Hayden

Yamaha Werksteam:

I Hope so much for Bradl he'll get the cockpit! Thinl he really deserves it!

When I met him last week he told he thinks it's quite secure he'll ride the LCR but dont believe anything in this business till the ink is dry!

Any more deals done??? What about the other CR-Teams??? No riders confirmed? What about De Puniet?

are there even any good bikes in wsbk left?correct me if i'm wrong but i can only think of a private pata aprilia, bmw italia or factory kawasaki

(what about tommy hill?bsb, wsbk or maybe even crt?

this is a mistake IMO, de puniet is well talented and i would like to have seen him on a tech three machine.

Not a mistake. Wsbk deserves him! GP has been mismanaged and has several riders that should be in GP but are not there because no seats are available and power politics ( Aoyama, Hopkins, etc). I'd be happy to watch DePuniet race in superbike, though I still think he may stay in GP with a CRT. Wsbk is running several talented riders, you should review their entry list. GP is introducing and retaining 2nd tier riders, while Wsbk is gaining 1st tier riders. I like having two rival competitive series to watch. It keeps the painful wait times between either series events more manageable.

Maybe he isnt! Read 5 mins ago he did an apriliatest and theres still a chance hes riding crt next year!

Bradl has signed for 2 years with lcr today!!! No link-> sending from iphone. But its true.

What a ....... waste of talent!

No its not. See my post about Wsbk above. Anyway, the dude might stay in GP with CRT. I echo Austin's take on this, how is a CRT ride more attractive than a top Wsbk ride (assuming there is one left) which might be the case...perception? Either way, the dude will be racing next year, which is good for us.

When SBK gets the guys who can't ride in GP anymore and GP is picking up guys like Spies who won their championship, I would say it's a bit more than perception. When the WSBK champ comes to GP and he makes it to the edge of alien status it tells us all we need to know about WSBK, and remember what you said about Checa. RDP's case is different though and more than enough reason to show why we need more bikes in GP, he has the talent but there wasn't enough money out there to lease anymore of the expensive satellite bikes, dude deserves to be on the grid.
