I was being facetious.
No, really? You got me.....Facetious isn't the same as inaccurate is it? Therefore I agreed with your post, even if you were trying to be funny.

Yawn. Do you hate him that much that you're really able to see past all his accomplishments and still think it was luck, favouritism or another?

No, I don't hate Rossi, I admit though there have been times I disliked him very much. I think the only rider I genuinely hated was Pedrosa, but I'm over that too. Its silly to hate these riders. I just don't buy the ........ results that have been achieved on schemes. I suppose you believe that all the riders lined up like a foot race and Rossi beat them all. You should take a closer look at their shoes, while Rossi was on pro lights, some had lead boots.

What about Argentina and Assen this year? Same boots. Laguna 08,Catalunya 09? Same boots. I could go on but....

Yeah, I agree. A person not paying attention could almost be convinced Rossi doesn't have any influence in the sport if u listen to Jumkie misquoting everyone in lieu of a sound argument.

Fixed it for you. What a great time saving device.

Its not a very useful tactic to distance yourself from the words that anyone can scroll up and read, but that won't stop you from trying.

The age old tactic of "I didn't say that" must seem as effective as putting your hand over your eyes and fooling yourself that nobody can see you. The rest of us know what you said and what you meant.

Michelin's reputation depends on making a superior product - not on sucking Carmelo's shriveled weenie. If they make tires that suck for everyone but Rossi - they will look like ..... Kesh Logic

Because that is what people thought when Rossi was winning on Michelin tires? When Rossi was winning on their good stuff, plenty of riders were coming last on Michelin shod bikes. Was the marketing message: Michelin is .... OR was it, look at Rossi's hat with that Michelin logo, those tires are awesome, I'm gonna go by me some after I drop my rent money at the track buy a VR jersey?

Kesh: Michelin suck because those tires suck for everyone else except the very popular guy wining. Kesh and the Beanstalk Marketing Consultation Services LLC

Kesh, take a look at a typical Dorna feed, how much time do they dedicate to the back markers? Where do you suppose the marketing dollars are achieved? For all intents and purposes, the back markers don't exist except to make it appear as an authentic competition. But you are trying to convince us Michelin are interested in displaying their logo for back markers who will never appear on the feed? Hahaha Kesh Logic.

And in regard to sucking Carmelo's weenie, question: how do you suppose Michelin got the contract to return to MotoGP in the first place? I can't wait to hear you answer. Surely it had nothing to do with sucking up to the entity in the position to award the contract.

Thats why I said "most". You can't go on because it will become increasingly difficult. When Rossi has had an advantage, he has been at the sharp end, take away that advantage and he looked like a another very good rider. Its this difference that you are missing.

Rossi races on the same tyres as everyone else, and beaten and is still beating people on the same tyres. So your argument doesn't hold water. Surely even you have got to be impressed with what he's doing this year at 36 yrs old.

Are you an ostrich? Well this is factually wrong (I'm assuming you meant he has always raced with the same tires as everyone else). You are either ignorant to this fact or refusing to accept it. There is a dramatic shift in winning by Rossi when he had Saturday Night Special tires verses when this advantage was nullified. Compare his wins and percentages when GP went to a full spec tire, its become increasingly difficult for him to dominate.

Edit: Yes, I am impressed with his performance this year.

Interesting you say this is factually wrong when you have no evidence to back up what you're saying. I've been following motogp since the 90's (was a huge Doohan fan back in the day), and I've never heard people rubbishing Rossi's achievements because of special tyres. At the end of the day, the guy at 36 yrs old is still beating people 10-15 yrs younger than him (on the same tyres) . The amount of time he's been in the top class, racing and beating everyone he's come up against is the equivalent to Wayne Rainey racing against Stoner or Doohan racing Marquez. Impressive to say the least.

Because most of the GP rounds are on the moon? No worries, I think Michelin are smart enough to add in just a smidgen of certain characteristics before hand. This way months into the season you and Kesh can point, u see, the tires are all allocated at random. Everything is on the up and up.

The onus of proof is always on the accuser. I say there is no conspiracy, so I don't have to prove anything, Jum. Face it -- your evidence is less than zero, nada, nought. And if you just go on with your rantings, rather than commenting the sport in a sensible way (something of which you are quite capable if you care to) you'll succeed only in sounding like a broken record I'm afraid.

May I paraphrase Arrabbiata1?

'What happens when the right tires get into the wrong hands.'

J4rno, my friend, we both have been repeating ourselves, just on opposite sides. You repeated the claim that Ducati had done nothing special, the exact word u used was "nothing radical" for Rossi during his time with them. (I still laugh about it now). Why should I stop 'repeating' you were wrong? Why would I stop repeating u are wrong about other stuff now?

It's Kropian logic at play here. If you write it enough, apparently reality decides to acquiesce and bends itself to fit incorrect statements. Like MurderMac's bike being a problem.

This true for everyone? Or just folks you disagree with?

I'm glad you asked Kesh.

Coincidentally it just so happens the people who disagree with me here express plenty of Kropian logic. It's hard being right all the time. It brings out the hater in everyone when they realize they are dead wrong on nearly everything.

Jape, my man - Gotta ask.

How would you know? :p Seriously - cognitive dissonance much? Even Señor Hubris - wouldn't make such a preposterous statement except in jest. So as you seem sane - I'll take that as tongue in cheek. If your argument is based solely on making jingoistic pronouncements about anyone agreeing with Kropo being automatically wrong about everything, then you are just shooting intellectual blanks. And who is it by the by, that I am alleged to hate? Playing the haters card is the last refuge of someone lacking a defensible reply.

Imagine how bad Nicky's results would have been without SNS's and the factory RC211V?

Oh yeah, we've seen that since 2009.....

Fact remains, 8-10 riders were given SNS's since doohans time. Rossi of all riders certainly doesn't need to prove anything, and certainly not to those rather jaded by other allegences.
