<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Pedrosa was spectacular today, leading from the front and never looking back. I am sure he appreciates winning in his home country.
Rossi may have been able to fight with Pedrosa a bit or at least keep him honest, but to go from the third row to finish second is remarkable.
I think Stoner is getting a taste of humble pie similar to what Rossi did last year. Finishing third is not a bad result. I think the machinery is pretty even. The big problem Stoner seems to be having is that he does not have an absolute rocketship which is capable of blowing everyone away. In other words, when everyone else has a good bike and is on their game he has been second or third best and it rankles him (rightly so). I think we will see more from Stoner as the season goes on. He would probably be well served if he gave him fellow competitors some credit from time to time. It gives the impression that he is belittling their accomplishments when he does not win. That is just my opinion anyway, for whatever it is worth.
Overall I liked the race, and I think the Doctor is showing the return to form that many said he had lost. I also like J.T. everytime I see him race, what a scrapper he is,
I think I am slowly becoming a Toseland fan (behind Rossi of course).
no harm in that mate
rossi and toseland swapped a bit of paint topday and neither complained about it. both hard chargers.
i agree with the rest of your post too.
