tall order being 7.5 sec behind. surprised casey is over 7.5 secs behind seeing he was right with pedro at the start.

yamaha seriously need to work on the top end speed.

struggling to pass stoner even in the slipstream.....

They run an I-4--it's inherently fat and underpowered--I think they are probably near their peak.

I predicted the race would be boring. A risky bet these days, but thankfully Moto1 delivered.

The Rossi Stoner battle was decent, but as with all 800cc battles it involved one pass then a lot of smoke and mirrors.

Petulant stoner may be, but he doesn't give up easily. I think rossi always had him covered and was toying with him to an extent. Casey must be looking forward to the GP09, because the current bike certainly does not look easy to ride, and as someone said earlier the track itself seems dangerous.

Pedrosa looks like he may be able to give rossi a fight for the title. I agree it was a great ride by toseland on a new track for him.

Congrats to Dani...
Great ride by Vale...from 9th to 2nd...not much riders can do that...
Disappointment for Stoner..another chassis problem ?...

Dani dominance returns!!!!!

I'm absolutly thrilled at the moment, especially going into Donny.

Nicky went backwards again (surprising? no!), Toseland did pretty well in my opinion to beat Vermeulen, great ride from Dovi to claim 4th and Rossi obviously did really well to cut through the field and claim 2nd.

And to anyone who says Dani is never happy, everytime i've seen him on the podium this year (every race bar Le Mans) he has had a great big smile on his face.

Oh and how hot is his girlfriend!?!

rossi did a lot of slip streaming behind stoner after he had been past because by the ducati top speed but come the last few laps it looked as though that power advantage had gone. maybe rossi made stoner use his fuel while rossi saved his by slipstreaming causing stoners tc to limit the power. as for chassis problems it looked to me that all the fast riders had problems with the bike moving around.

Don’t know mate, I was really looking today at his expressions and behavior, and could not see any smiles, or obvious joy. I am sure he is very happy deep inside, but he just does not show any of it, and he is as charismatic as a lemon.

Must say that Stoner gave a great fight.

like a scalded cat! pedrosa really took off & did what he's good at... controlling from the front. the battle for 2nd was it tho, really great stuff from rossi & stoner! the championship is real tight at the top for 1st & 2nd & now stoner is only 2 points from lorenzo. both still in it. what a great ride by dovi it's time to give the boy a new bike. colin his customary 5th with a good ride by toseland for 6th. 7th for the mole... ehhhh. looks like nicky's back to fayden... so so sad

Great race from vale, kept it interesting.

It was a good race from Dani, i don't think Rossi could have beaten him if he was closer.

after watching the race if rossi was on front row i think he would have had dani, there was alot of riders holding him up in start of race, its easier to dissapear with an open track.

im wondering how it would have panned out if rossi stayed with michelin with this years m1?

stoner doing my headin with excuses every dam race, its always something mysterious that cant be seen......... when he said rossi was making excuses atleast you could actualy see when rossi was in trouble with tyres and his bike just giving up.
