MotoGP back in action at Sepang Test

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (peri @ Feb 3 2010, 09:44 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>just a question........... the engines used in those official tests are part of the 6-engines rule?

or does the rule start on the first race?
AFAIK. these motors ain't part of the stupid 6 location if they are were Doomed as a sport/spectacle ffs

Look at the swingarm on the RC212V. Is it just me, or does it look significantly wider/taller than last year. I know they are working on chassis dynamics, but that design looks very big relative to most other swingarms throughout the paddock.

he won,t be close enough to worry cs and casey will be very pleased if nh can get up the front. they both genuinely get on well together.
why this silly comment??? unnecessary and inflammatory statement, and people wonder why cs fans get upset???

I would be happy to see loris and suzuki much closer to the front than they have been but them being reasonably close is I fear more likely due to others not showing their hand. At least it is my hope anyway that casey has learned to resist totally showing his hand since dominant testing or practice performances do not seem to have gained him much in the last 2 years but rather on several occasions have given rossi and jb something to aim at.

I am getting so excited about this season. I think the intensity is going to be at a level not seen before. Rossi looks to me to be as hungry as he has ever been. In fact Rossi looks intense to me which is unusual as he is often so laid back.

Everything I hear from Stoners mouth has that same level of hunger and he is fitter and stronger than he has ever been.

Jorge and Dani on the other hand do not seem to have the same level of intensity as these two and I thing that is the way the season will play out.

My prediction is an epic battle all season long between Rossi and Stoner and at season end we will be talking about the two super aliens. If you can beat Stoner or Rossi this year you have earned the championship beyond doubt.

I also predict that Lorenzo and Dani will be beaten by one or more of the 3 Americans on more than the odd occasion.

Fairly logical results for a first day of testing with new bikes. Maybe Capi is a bit higher than I would've predicted and Pedrosa a bit lower. Barberá quickest rookie today, on the maneating Ducatis not bad. Melandri 16th? I expected better maybe he had somekind of mechanical problem or crash since he only did 28 laps in total.
