If the booing occurs after the entertainment these guys just provided race fans with, then I'll join those who will be happy to see the back of Rossi. And to those who think it's normal, you're delusional.

I liked his Italian sunglasses.
You think they will boo him on a ducati? Of course he will have to be able to ride like this on it to be boo'ed.

I think some of them will be torn about it.

Say he wins at Mugello in one year on the Ducati...are they really going to boo? That'd be a colossal insult to Ducati more than anything. I don't see all of them booing...just the Rossi-affiliated contingent will continue.

The guy is iron. MM might have slightly greater raw talent.

He never panicked even after MM overtook him...many guys would have made a [number] of ill-advised attempts to try and gain the position back. He never wavered on it. Lorenzo is a lot of fun to watch given how even his temperament is when he is riding at that level. Superb performance as usual. Sad so many people detract from him when he is doing something incredible.

I honestly thought it was kind of mixed on the podium just moments ago. Marc all I heard was boo's. I thought I heard a fair bit of cheering for Jorge. More than normal at least.

The thing that really was amazing with Lorenzo's performance is that in spite of Rossi being a hell of a late braker, he could not outbrake Lorenzo into turn 1. Really a gem of a performance from Lorenzo to consistently outbrake and outperform Rossi for the duration before the engine failure. Rossi made a few mistakes trying to find a way past Lorenzo. If that battle unfolds to the end, I don't think Rossi wins that race as MM was going to get involved eventually. But it really puts into perspective how good Lorenzo is, that he took on the guy who is widely regarded the best braker in GP, and outperformed him on the brakes.

I'm disappointed that Rossi's engine took a dump, but he was strong in the race and that's a good sign moving forward since there's still a long way to go. MM and JL provided a good battle and made for an awesome race.

He must be so anoying to race against ...... like the ghost rider they used to have on old playstation games.

Some of the contingent is no doubt coming around since he's going to be on the Desmosedici in about 6 months. Reality is starting to set in for some of them imo.

In Italy you have Rossi fans then you have Ducati fans, the "Ducatisti" went wild when Stoner won at Mugello in 2009.

I had the feeling Rossi was getting frustrated because every single overtake move he uses on guys, he couldn't even get them off. You could as they came down to Casanova, that he was trying to dive up the inside of Lorenzo as he is wont to do, in an effort to run Lorenzo wide so he could take the position. It never materialized as his braking point was not deep enough to get past Lorenzo. Metronomic precision from Lorenzo.

In a way, I wonder if his engine blowing up saved us something later in the race. MM getting involved in that battle might have fried Rossi out and created unnecessary fireworks.

You heard it here first: There's video of the Toad putting sugar into Vale's gas tank. Really. Of course it will go into the same can as the famous Honda telemetry which showed that Marquez put it into Rossi in Sepang. Here's proof. Now its gone.

I'll give it to the Toad for pulling off the win although I wanted so much to hear him whine why he lost this one.
