He looks like they walked in on him while he was sharpening knives for killing his family. :p

I agree. Dani has a huge chance next year.

Lorenzo and Rossi will be fighting each other furiously. Rossi and Marquez will be doing the same.

Dani stays out of the drama, whilst the others hinder each other.

Too soon to predict. Even if the Hondas work out the remaining kinks for 201 there's a possibility that the Michelins will (likely) get chewed up by the Hondas and the Yamahas may continue to be as competitive as they were this year, tho, I'm predicting that the guys like Rossi who thrive with a really hard front - are not going to be happy with the Michelins. I could foresee a lot of crashes from MM whilst in the process of adapting to the Michelins. The Yamahas should continue to be more forgiving on tires.

It's early but it looks from FP2 that Yamaha has the best pace...

8 laps in the 1'31 for Lorenzo and Rossi (Lorenzo is .5s faster in half of his laps in the 1'31)
6 laps in the 1'31 for Marquez (Odd that he didnt improve from FP1)
4 laps in the 1'31 for Pedrosa and Iannonne

As I said, early to judge, but if the race was tomorrow, Lorenzo would be in very good shape to win!

Let's see how it shapes up as Lorenzo and the Hondas aim more for a fast lap time while Rossi works on race pace... Anything is possible eh?

Watching Lorenzo in FP2, right now he looks like the man to beat for Sunday.

To me the big thing will be how far up the grid Rossi can go Sunday. I believe Lorenzo is going to be very difficult to catch.

Trying to calculate how many meters back is #46 from pole on sunday.

I think FP2 was interesting. After a long time I saw shuffling of the top order. Final laps by DanI and ianonne looked nice. Checked to see whether Iannone was getting towed by 99. Turned out he was ahead of him

Assuming they are at top speed on the last straight

318kph = 88.33 meter per second

Rossi is currently .364s behind

That would be 32.15 meters :)

Whoops sorry APEX, I forgot to say grid slot
Or how many meters back does #46 start from pole

Nice calculation of the on the on track gap after a lap.

Awesome Gaz.

What I really like about that, is how it shows how MM rotates the rear of the bike under braking.

If you compare him and Dovi, Dovi starts to do it, but then gets back to center.

MM on the other hand does not.

Christ, the amount of confidence needed to do that is incredible.
