To finish first, first you must Finnish?

Ana Carrasco 8th place finish. Fantastic !! got as high as 6th a few times during race and even dropped to 11th and fought back to 6th. Great stuff and what a result. Thats not forget her KTM has the old chassis too.

Miller put in a great time first day out on the KTM in testing.

1. Miller 1.47.291

2. Hanika 1.47.827 (on debut)

3. Ajo 1.47.860

Alex Marquez has got to be the dumbest rider on the planet. Shows his cards all race, every time, and gets beat.

He did great to come back from that mistake. Rins was the big loser today.

The EG Hondas appear to be the class of the field. Jack Miller won that race through talent.

This could be a good season if we see a fast Honda, but Miller taking them on.

Khairuddin appears to be disappearing to the back of the order.

I think we might see KTM rise to the challenge. Hondas looked slow basically until Qatar FP1, where they caught KTM on the back foot. But they will bring on some evolution as well. KTM vs Honda, Miller vs. Rins/Marquez, Mahindra looking stronger as well.. great season ahead of us!

It is 12:55 PM eastern time in the U.S. and Alex Marquez is still an idiot.

Initiates a meaningless scrap for second place halfway through a Moto 3 race, allowing Fenati to catch up. So he gets booted out of the podium positions by the rider he allowed to catch up and crashes trying to claw his way back...

By the way, what is up with Rins?

Miller for the second win of the season!!

I can see those Aussies getting bloody annoying again

oh wait ...........  I mean I can see <span style="font-size:24px;<span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;me getting all annoying again over this one!!

I'm only seeing the highlights as I haven't worked out what (if any) better options there are. Disappointing to only see about 30 seconds of the Moto3 race this week. But that seems to be enough to confirm various postings here. Firstly how well Jack Miller is doing. And secondly the limitations in Alex Marquez's racecraft.

What happened to the Mahindras?

Miller is close to a year and a half older than Marquez. Racecraft is learned and a lot can be learned in that amount of time. At that age, give me a wild buck who is fast and i will teach him the rest, hopefully. Little early to brand him  the next Marco Malandri  just yet.

Absolutely dirty move from Fenati. He is clearly a young rider attending the school of Rossi.

Is Moto 3 the best race series in the world?

Should've known they wouldn't penalize one of Rossi's riders for a move they would never penalize Rossi himself for, should he do it.

ok, they're young, it's racing, it's the last lap and ok, nobody went down. but it was a ...., uncontrolled and unfair move. and it was clear nothing would be done to the doctor's fluff boy. great race, still (big kudos to Loi and Kalex KTM, btw). loved to see the anger on Miller's face. will make mortadella of Fenati for sure.

My view is this was a racing incident. looking at it as a chain reaction the initial contact was made by Marquez on Fenati who in turn ended on the inside of Miller.

.... happens.

Miller is gonna put some hard moves in this year on his way to the title.

Yeah, I think Moto3 is the best race series.

well, initially Fenati hit Marquez, then went on to hit Miller. it was a racing incident, albeit a dirty racing incident. love Moto3, btw.
