hi all im just about to buy a bike after being a massive bike fan for many years. i really interested in these moto style pipes they look great and sound awesome, but the thing is ive seen people say your BHP can take a dive with a DB killer in or baffle in, then you run the risk of being pulled if its to loud..can anyone tell me if there is a middle ground and some good places to get one?

not sure about your sukie, just that my r6 I had to rev the .... out of it to have fun. As f-n ugly as the stock can was, it saved me from many, many tickets.

Where do you live? I've heard some rumors of laws hitting parts of the States in limiting the sound....ya can only run OEM. I guess Colorado is one of them.

i live in the uk.i just posted that video so people whould know what type of pipe i was talking about.. im looking at a GSXR ive seen loads of this sort of pipe on them but ive aslo heard that if there to loud then your get nicked and if you have the baffles in then you risk loseing BHP,im just doing my homework before i by.Any help???

You are unlikely to get nicked just riding about, but if you go to bike meets and general sunday afternoon hot spots you are at more risk. Some people say its worth it because loud pipes save lives.

If your pipe doesn't have an EU mark or a Kite mark you can get nicked for it, It wall also fail an MOT test.
