WHY DO THE BRITS NOT SEEM TO SUPPORT JT?
It doesn't seem JT gets much love around here. I guess the Brits would rather root for Rossi, their adopted son.

It's because we brits love to build someone up, just to knock them down again. I don't dislike Toseland as I've said in other threads, he's a sound old boy, I just think he's very over rated.

I have always liked JT, because he's a genuine guy. First met him at SF airport after Laguna in '02 when he was riding the GSE Ducati, and he was a cracking bloke - totally devoid of any conceit and ego..unlike his then team mate Neil Hodgson. I have always admired his grit and determination, he's a demon late braker - (although Dovi has the edge on him in that department) - and on his day he's as quick as anyone out there, and not afraid of a fight.

I think his recent problems stem from the fact that he needs to refine his riding style - (when he goes back to WSB, which is inevitable, if Spies has moved on by then, then he'll completely wipe the floor with the opposition); he just doesn't seem to gel on a GP bike. He certainly doesn't lack focus - just direction. I think he needs to refine his approach to riding a GP bike and certainly his set up skills - although the Michelins didn't help him last year.

He has massive support over here, an has always been popular, although you're right, there's not a huge amount of people shouting for him on this forum...isn't he phleg's avatar though?

I suppose, playing in a very ..... cover band doesn't do anyone any favours either.

As I remember, there were several renditions posted by members on the possible look of the Fiat Yamaha. Can we get somebody to do the same for the Monster Yamaha?

Maybe?
