I'm surprised when watching the SBK race that they didn't dedicate a segment to it before the race.
 
I new they were going to re-name it in memory of super-sic. Glad they did but im afraid i still have negative feelings about this track.
 
Very fitting tribute for such an up and coming talent. Without a doubt he would have won countless races at this track.

Never have I seen a rider that could possibly win, so many GP titles.
 
i could understand naming part of the circuit,or a grandstand or whatever after shoya. sadly i did not hear anything about him anymore and he actually died at that track
 
Like the tribute, Marco would have been a World champion in the Motogp class, best talent that never reached his potential imo. and still missed.

I don't think any track would want to name anything after a rider that died there, that would be real negative advertising. It was named after marco because he lives a mile up the road so it was his "real" home track.

i see your point, would be nice though if there was at least something thats in his memory.
